I'm not a person who do reviews, but only twice in my 65 years of life have I sat in a medical professioner's examining chair and experienced such dismissive and unconcerned demeanor! I still have no answers to questions I generated. On going condition, no return visit.

Dr.Abbas is a very good and experience Dr.Im thankful to have him as my Dr,he definitely know what he is doing. He made me feel comfortable, my visit was amazing,not once did I feel uncomfortable or nervous.

Dr Abass is an excellent Doctor. He is fantastic at his diagnosis and explains all of your options. He doesn’t start with the most extreme procedure. He is an effective communicator and listens to all of your questions and concerns. It is very important that you ask your questions, he isn’t a mind reader. I went in to see Dr Abbas with some serious sinus issues and I am happy to say this is the best my sinuses have ever been. It did take some time but the end result has been spectacular. I will definitely recommend him to all of my family and friends. He has actually tremendously helped my daughter when another physician at another practice wanted to do some very extensive surgeries. He dramatically helped her with a very minor surgery compared to what the other Dr. recommended. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Abbas!

Dr Abbas doesn’t want to get to know you and doesn’t care about what you have to say beyond listing your symptoms.

I have been seeing Dr Abbas for years for my allergies. He also assisted with a sinus issue previously and helped clear that up and actually caught that my thyroid level was higher than it should’ve been. My PCP said it had been normal, but he recommended that I see someone in the office who was more skilled at the thyroid levels. I started seeing Nicole Hardy and she is wonderful so I am appreciative that Dr Abbas caught that on the lab work, and he mentioned it, even though he didn’t have to. He’s very direct and straightforward but a good doctor and I’ll continue to see him.

Definitely did not feel like he cares about his patients. Very short, only wants to hear the minimum possible from patients. I understand if he's had a few "google MDs" try to tell him how to do his job, but he definitely needs to work on his manner. Listening to your patients is a virtue, Doc!

He’s not the most personable doctor that I’ve ever had, but he discovered something that none had before —> I needed my sinuses cleared out. I breathe better now, so I appreciate him.

As many others have said, he doesn't like to listen, and he comes off as very disrespectful. I think if I hadn't kept insisting that he hear me out, he would have offered no solution. He interrupted me a lot, so much so that he didn't give me a chance to tell him that I actually studied audiology and speech pathology. He also only listened to half of what I wanted to tell him. So when he tried to give me an explanation for why one of my nostrils seems to be closing up, i knew it made no sense. It also wasn't helpful because it didn't address the problem. It seemed like he was just going to leave it at that without giving any solutions. So I kept asking questions and trying to explain what I was feelings. When he tried to prove what he originally told me by having me cover one nostril at a time, he only proved that I was right and that he was wrong. He finally listened to some of what I had been trying to tell him. He told me that there's a procedure to help. I was so tired of arguing… with him and so relieved to have a solution, I let him end the consult and I left. But for the rest of the day, I reflected on the experience and realized that I still didn't get to tell him everything that I was experiencing, and felt really anxious about whether the procedure he suggested is actually what I need. The next day, I talked to my allergist at the same office. It turns out that Dr. Abbas did write everything clearly in the notes and seemed to understand what was going on. But I don't think I'll ever accept an appointment with him for future issues. I understand that doctors are only human, and that he must see dozens of patients every day. But if he had just shut up and let me speak in the first place, it would have saved a lot of his own time and gained my respect. I don't understand how someone can have this many negative reviews, and put patients at risk of misdiagnoses, and still have a job. I hope he will read these reviews and work on how he deals with patients. If he's not equipped to counsel patients, he should find a different position where he doesn't have to deal with them directly.

I have never been treated in such condescending and rude manner by a provider. Dr. Abbas walked in the room, no greeting nor did he acknowledge my daughter and I. After sharing my daughter's concern around her sore tonsils, he dismissed everything and rattles down how I need to have documentation etc. I insisted for him to at least check her tonsils and continued to ask questions. He seemed very annoyed and rude. He told me I should have done my research, which left me baffled and said he will not make a guess based on the concerns I have shared. I have kindly explained that as a doctor, I do not expect him to make any guesses but rather help me understand. I am in such disbelief of how doctors like Dr. Abbas can get away with this type of unprofessional behavior. After reading the reviews on him, it confirmed everything I had experienced. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor.
