Dr. Gregory David Adams, MD

Referred here by someone only because they work nearby . Moves to de and needed a primary doctor . N had some back pain to be addressed . Never got to meet dr Greg Adams . But the entire staff running the office is not professional . Had to reschedule my pain apointment twice . And they are not helpful ,attentive or proper . Would not be who I want to have as a primary doctor . Needs better staff . They do not follow up with patients . They do not want to do anything more than what they want to do . The care about their patients just does not exist .

Dr Adams staff is some of the worst I've ever encountered, rude doesn't even begin to describe. After being a patient of his for over 15 yrs, I trusted him with my complete medical care and life sadly I made a huge mistake. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

I recently moved here from out of state and needed referrals and weekly lab work to continue care for a current condition. I can't speak on how good Dr. Adams is when it comes to diagnosing conditions or any of that, as I've only had him as my Dr. for a short time, but I agree with the others in that he doesn't give much information. I don't think he's well versed in Warfarin monitoring, etc. because when my lab came back, all the nurse told me was that he said "labs looked good, all is well". As patients on Warfarin would know, I obviously need to know what my INR is and whether to lower my dosage (he recently had me up my dosage due to it being low for a while) or up it. I had to get a call back as to what to do because he left no instructions. Shortly after, I received a call saying I could remain on the same dosage I'm on now. Since my level went way up this time, I'm assuming staying on this dose will only make it go higher - too high for my needs. Therefore, I'm stuck monitoring… it on my own until I can switch to a new provider. I will admit, the office is pretty good on calling in prescriptions and helping me out with referrals in a timely manner, but I am switching providers due to the fact that I can't trust what he tells me. If you're in the medical field, you should be communicating and connecting with your patients - not leaving them to feel lost.

Dr Adams may be good in what he does but a patient has to understand what is going on and some people would like more details than the other. I recently discovered about a health issue and I could hardly get anything out of me. All he did was say I had so and so and I am supposed to take this medicine. I tried asking him more questions and all I got out of him was Yes or No and after a while he seemed annoyed that I was taking an interest in my health and asking questions about my own health. If you want a doctor to simply diagnose and prescribe you a medicine and you dont care about knowing more about your condition, medicine or if there are other options than taking a pill then Dr Adams is best for you.

I have recently scheduled 2 out of pocket appointments that I feel that I shouldn't have had to make . In my opinion Dr Adams is a excellent physican however getting thru to him to discuss a important situation is next to impossible. I feel that if a person needs to speak with their Doctor, one shouldn't need to schedule an appointment to do so after just seeing him days prior. If a Doctor cannot take 5 minutes of his time to call his patient back then he needs to slow down. The office staff is horrible and they make you feel like your disturbing them. Their very rude, It's not just me that feels this way, I watched how they treated others and I noticed they were treated the same way. I've heard others complain about them as well. The nurses are great, they are friendly and take the time to talk to you. Dr Adams should look into a Mystery Patient to look into his staff, He's probably clean house.
