Dr. Gregory Andrew Ambuske, DO

There isn't a nice thing I can say about my experience. I just hope this review will save someone else the pain of dealing with him and his office staff. I have an over active thyroid. In the several times I have been to his office not ONCE did he check my neck. When my new dr did this I was sure he was thinking I have a sore throat. My new dr explained if he doesn't check the neck while I am swallowing he will not fine if there are nodules I the thyroid which could be causing the issues!!! Thank goodness I don't have them but it would have been nice of him to check. His nurse Cathi is unprofessional she always has the same thing happen to her or has the same symptom etc. I never went there to hear about her problems. Also she told my entire family that she had to turn in Dr Ambuske to labor relations because due to the number hours she was required to work without being paid any overtime. Very weird considering she still works there. When their receptionist Cindy left the… practice went to a new low. He has his wife answering phones, taking messages, and making appointments. She is by far the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have ever come across in a doctor office. Someone should have told Gregg that you don't have your wife in the office. She will hurt your practice. I guess someone should tell him not to drink and drive either. That is just not the morally correct thing to do. Way too many young people use him for a doctor. I don't ever want my grandchild to say "well it is ok to drink and drive, Dr Ambuske does. Wish there were negative stars to give but there isn't so I gave the lowest possible.

Whatever you do, keep receipts of all appointments. Received a a bill from 'supposed' office visits one, from 4 years ago and one from well over 2 yrs. ago. Called to inquire about specific dates and was told they would get back to me and never did. Then a notice came from a collection agency. Called collection agency to inquire about dates they received and it was from a totally different date. will never go to again.

This was my first appt. with Dr. Ambuske and after diagnosing me with some spinal disc problems was referred to a specialists that I had to wait 3 weeks to see. I called Dr. Ambuske in the mean time tohave bloodwork done because my symptoms are changing and I feel horrible and noone ever called me back. Trying to get a hold of someone in his office is an act of God. They not only need additional lines,but additional people to answer them. I am new to the area and this is the first majr medical issue I have ever had to deal with and was hoping to have found a caring professional...not the case. I would not recommend this office to anyone, ever!

This doctor was my Doctor while in the hospital on my 2nd day he released me without seeing me and put me on medication i was allergic to and it was noted in my chart. Within 12 hrs I was back in the ER unstable and reammitted

This doctor was very unprofessional walking out on patient when when being asked a question and saying you can leave now. No answers provided and no understanding on your concern. My only comment is if you have him good luck......

I had pneumonia and he didn't even know it gave me no antibiotic. He needs to realize that there is a place for drug therapy and I'm coming to him because I'm ill!
