Gregory M. Benedict, MD - South Florida Orthopedics: I have a 10 disc spine fusion, have had 7 spine surgeries and have lost 5 inches in height. Due to these issues, finding a knowledgeable and professional pain doctor was of the utmost importance to me when I moved from the Charlotte area, where I had been with a great pain management medical group for 15 years. I was worried and spent a lot of time researching the pain doctors in the Treasure Coast area and my intensive search led me to Dr Gregory M. Benedict with the South Florida Orthopaedic. Besides Orthopaedic's, Dr Benedict has extensive training in pain management and I truly do not believe that there is a better pain doctor, than Dr Benedict in all of the Treasure Coast. He is professional, no nonsense, inquisitive and a truly caring doctor and when he accepted me as a patient, I was extremely pleased. Without reservation, I highly recommend Dr Gregory M. Benedict. He is in the Tradition area, South Florida Orthopedics,… just past the Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

Do not use South Florida Orthopedic for Pain Management. Very unprofessional and rude!. After 2 months waiting for the appointment I was told when I arrived at the office that they didn't have any records of my MRI and EMG. I replied that next door to their office was the office of my neurologist and that I can get the results for them. They told me that I had to have new X-rays done on the 4th floor and they had me waiting for 2 hours to get the result from next door. When I told Dr. Benedict that I had another appointment I was told by him to leave because he was still waiting on one more result. Dr. Benedict was extremely rude and I had to walk out of the office. I asked the front receptionist to reschedule me with Dr. Ramos. As soon as Dr. Ramos saw me he was arrogant and rude and refused to hear me out or listen to the pain I had. He told me that there was nothing he can do for me, that I have wasted his time instead of having a new patient for him to see. I was told that I should… have stayed with Dr. Benedict. I told him that I was a new patient and that I didn't have the opportunity to discuss anything with Dr. Benedict and that I had a very bad experience with him. He told me that he couldn't do anything for me and that I wasted 30 minutes of his time. I only was able to speak to Dr. Ramos for only 2 minutes when I was basically kicked out of his office. Dr. Ramos and Dr. Benedict are very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Save yourself the time, stress and frustration and don't go to this office!!!!!
