Dr. Gregory R Bevans

I first visited Dr. Bevans after a visit with another dentist who wanted to replace practically everything in my mouth! This dentist wanted to replace both my fillings and caps/crowns and also claimed I had gum disease, which I knew not to be true. He knew that I had not been to the dentist in years and evidently thought I would believe my teeth were in horrible shape. Of course he offered to get me right into his finance office to arrange financing for all the work he proposed to do in my mouth! I requested my x-rays so I could get a second opinion from another dentist. A friend recommended their family dentist, Dr. Bevans who I went to see. I immediately liked Dr. Bevan's demeanor. He is easy to chat with and is happy to answer questions. He confirmed my suspicions that my fillings and crowns were fine and that my gums were healthy. When six months later I had an old very filling break, Dr. Bevans gave me options to fix it; I could either go with a cap or a filling, letting… me know that eventually the cap would probably be required. I appreciated the option of getting a filling if the cap was not immediately affordable to me. I have been visiting Dr. Bevans for years now and am very happy with his work and his staff.

I started seeing Dr. Greg in 1992. He is an excellent dentist who has worked with me on many dental emergencies. His work is exceptional. He is also a good natured and caring individual. The dental hygienist and staff are superb, too. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr. Greg.

I scheduled an appointment to get two crowns thinking they would cost about the same as a root canal. I didn't receive a consultation or any treatment options. He immediately began preparing the teeth. When I found out the cost of the procudre $900 out of pocket! I asked if I could postpone the procedure until after Christmas, but according to the snippy receptionist, they have been sent to the lab and I'm obligated to complete the procedure. I should have been made aware of the cost BEFORE the procedure began. There was so sympathy for my situation being a young working mother paying for child care and struggles to get by day to day. Christmas has been a concern lingering in my mind, but now I'm locked in to paying $300 for the next 3 months. Wow terrible experience! I would NOT recommend this dentist.
