Dr. Greggory Bowles, DDS

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Bowles did too much work over a short period of time- all in an attempt to save “time and money” for me. If I could go back in time to avoid him entirely, I would- without a doubt. Due to the amount of work he did over such a short period of time, my natural bite was completely lost. It’s been 14 years and I haven’t found it since. When I went back to him over and over for bite adjustments in an attempt to get him to fix it, he told me he didn’t know why it was happening and even admitted to having to ask colleagues if they had any idea why. At that point I left and never looked back. I have gone through 5 root canals due to severe sensitivity that I believe is due to not having found my natural bite since. I now wear a bite guard, constantly have issues finding a comfortable resting place for my jaw, and have severe anxiety over my teeth breaking down. I’ve considered dentures multiple times over the years when the pain gets to be too… frustrating, just so that I don’t have to be in pain anymore or constantly careful of how I chew. After finding a fantastic dentist, he has helped me with small bite adjustments over time to get to a place that is manageable but I still struggle. My current dentist read through and reviewed the records Dr. Bowles provided and is convinced that he took advantage of me at the time (young and stupid with a dad willing to pay for whatever was needed) and performed work that was not considered essential. I have thought about taking Dr. Bowles to court more times than I can count- he absolutely ruined my mouth.
