Had family member that went to Dr Casey recently. Family member was losing blood, had bad labs, etc. Dr Casey did upper and lower scope with absolutely no findings. A week later labs done again, and they just keep getting worse, well family (patient) went to er (not at PVH) and was admitted. Had another egd and a very large mass was found and bleeding. And it had been bleeding for awhile. Was transferred to another hospital and another egd done and they also had no trouble seeing the large mass. This didn’t happen overnight, or over a weeks period of time. If u have a gi bleed, or any bleed- u need to find the cause. (Let alone with all the other symptoms and signs patient had). Please research your Dr and get the best of care you can!!!

Dr. Casey took my dad into surgery after the other surgeon said, "Give him morphine and let him say good bye to his family." I asked for another surgeon, and Dr. Casey came into ER and wheeled my dad into surgery himself. He talked to us, sometimes in the middle of the night while he was there 'just checking' on my dad. He was kind and we love him!
