Dr. Gregory Hannibal Crisp

I've been seeing this Dr now for about4 months.I feel he knows what he's doing. He takes time to explain everything and makes sure i fully understand what's going on.

does not prescribe pain medicine. after treatment pain worse than before an still not help with manageing my pain

I just think he knows his stuff. I have been going for a few months and he's helped my back. So another places been treating me. Awful. They were treating me in the wrong area all this time. I go see Dr. Crisp and bam!! I felt great after my first treatment. Ive been back another time with Dr. Crisp and I will continuously use Dr. Crisp for future needs.

This office is supposed to be for pain management however it seems to me more like an outpatient surgery center. All he does is injections. And he wants to do them all over your body even in places that your not currently having pain. He actually gave me three injections and after the procedure he gives you nothing for pain your just supposed to deal with the pain from him sticking a needle into your spine. I can understand not wanting your patients to be on pain medication however I don't understand what your supposed to do after a procedure when you are having a lot of pain.

Dr Crisps office is not appointment bases apparently. If you have an appt time of say 8am plan on being there most of the day. he will schedule multiple patients for the same time and too many procedures to be done in a timely manner in one day. If youhave an appt say at 8am for procedure you will more than likely still be in an exam room 2 1/2 hr to 4 hours later. Not only are you in pain, sitting and waiting, but the person who brings you must also wait. He has no concern that you are waiting or that who brought you is waiting. If you get upset about it he will probably discharge you leaving you high and dry. ARMC is listed as the pain management. You would think they would be concerned about this, but this apparently has been going on for some time without intervention. So you are not only in pain, but then you are so stressed out your pain is worse because you are extremely tense. Also his staff is stressed because they have to deal with upset patients.

Dr. Crisp likes to do injections. In fact, regardless of your problem, this will be the first thing he does. If the injection doesn't work, he'll try again and again before taking another avenue. You also have to pay in cash or credit card-no checks. I know several people sued by Dr. Crisp when they got behind in their payements. I've never seen a Dr. take someone to court before but Dr. Crisp likes his money. I would highly recommend other pain management physicians before Dr. Crisp unless you have facet issues. Then, his numerous injections may actually pay off for you.
