Dr. Gregory Wong Demeo, DO

Dr. Demeo was the on-call dr while I was admitted in high risk. I am both appalled and disgusted at not only his blatant disregard for what I was actually requesting but his clinical notes" he placed in my file. He seems to be yet another doctor who is so void of empathy and doesn't actually listen to the patient but 100% warps what is being said because he is hearing only what he wants. If my only concern is my unborn child and the on-call attending has made up his mind there is no chance for a woman to feel safe at Christiana.

Been my dr since 2011. He delivery my daughter and I had her exactly on the due date he said. it was a good experience. No complaints

Terrible, rude office staff! One of the nurses that I spoke with talked to me like a child. I feel like I am just a number to them.

I have to respectfully disagree with the negative comments about Dr. Demeo. 18 years ago he delivered by son C-section and my daughter, 2 1/2 years later. I had complications with my daughter and he was superb! Caring, sympathetic and professional! 4 years after the birth of my daughter, I was diagnosed by Dr. Demeo and his team with Cervical Cancer. He was on top of it from the beginning and was thorough and complete in his diagnosis and treatment. He saved my Life! Thank you Dr. Demeo

Think twice about having your baby delivered by this "practitioner". He delivered my daughter as my regular OB was not on call, despite a high risk pregnancy. During delivery this "doctor" couldn't determine if I was fully dilated....the nurse asked him and his reply was I don't know! As a result I had a post delivery hematoma and a broken tailbone. There was no follow up by this clown.

I would not see this doctor ever again. He was not my usual doctor but my doctor was unavailable at the time. Came into the room, never introduced himself like a professional would have, looked at the computer and asked questions that weren't even relevant to what I was there for, uncaring, rushed thru exam before I could even ask any questions about my concern. Never called with my results, had to keep calling the office and bothering the nurse for answers, she was very nice and gave me the info I had been waiting for, she was even wondering why I still had no results, if it wasn't for me calling for days and getting the nurse to help me I would have never known what was wrong with me. To me that is not a doctor who cares. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor in my life until that day.

On his best day or worst day (we all have them) he doesn't miss anything. He is always on top of any situation. I feel so comfortable with the knowledge this physician has that I don't worry anymore.

I read the reviews for this doctor and am thinking he is not the same doctor I've been seeing. In 2008 he was my 2nd opinion doctor, and I don't regret it at all. When I entered the surgical suite, he greeted me, and held my hand until I went under. He saved my life! I just returned from seeing him with another unrelated problem and I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I had a primary obgyn at that practice. I found out early on that she was pregnant and that I would need to find another primary for my delivery. The nurses are so kind there and I felt comfortable asking who they recommended. They recommended Dr Demeo. I had a planned csection. During my csection i developed uterine atony and i had severe postpartum bleeding. I am so lucky that I had his assistant there because when the surgery was complete he left. The assistant doc was the one that was concerned for me because of the severity of my blood loss. She made attempts to stop the bleeding and then after a while he came in joking why she was still there. After she explained the situation, his answer was "oh good." If it hadn't been for her, I either would have needed a hysterectomy or who knows what else could have happened. I required a blood transfusion the next day. He never called to check in and even the other doctors that came in asked if he had been to see me and you… could tell were not happy at all. he never came to see me until the evening the next day. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't know why it happened and his answer was that I was his "unique case." Please think twice before you allow him to deliver your baby.

I have been seeing Dr. Demeo for years and would highly recommend him to anyone.
