Dr. Gregory A Doak, MD

If you want a doctor who will tell you the plain truth, this is the one. He is very concerned with your quality of life - not just handing you a prescription for pills that mask your symptoms and will not "fix" you. He will tell you what you need to do to help make yourself better and enjoy life more completely. Just follow his advice and you will get better. I lost weight, quit smoking, and lowered my A1C - was able to stop taking one type of medicine and hope to get off most (if not all) of the rest. You are the one responsible fixing many of your health issues - just like me. Dr. Doak can guide you along the right path. It may seem difficult, but you can follow it.

I have known Dr. Doak for many years, I first met him when I was admitted to Bothwell on an emergency basis. He immediately diagnosed my condition, and when followed up with tests was found correct. He literally saved my life on that admission and again saved my life several years later. He has knowledge and experience and takes a personal interest in his patients. He does research and keeps up with the latest medical issues, he takes time with his patients, and listens to them. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is seeking a caring, and knowledgeable doctor. His nurse Paula is very caring and kind and treats the patients like cherished people. Dr. Doak and Paula can not be over rated in their care. NC Sedalia, Mo.

Dr. Doak has been my Dr. for several years and has taken such good care of me. He is very honest and straight forward. He let's me know when I have erred but does it politely and with patience. I recommend him as a good Dr. who really knows what he is doing.

We are very lucky to find this kind of Doctor in town, He is the doctor who's knowledgeable in his specialty and treat the patients with respect, I admire Dr. Doak. I hope more years to serve the community.

no matter what is wrong with you it's come back and we'll see. did this to my elderly mother for years until I started going in with her. he might treat symptoms but does not treat patient as a whole and will not get to the cause of problems. Admitted he did not know how to read test results and someone else had to read blood work and tell him what it meant!

Dr. Doak is an intelligent man and may be an excellent doctor. I am a long-time patient of his and got along fine with him for many years. About 2 years ago he made a suggestion (more like giving an order) that I did not follow through on. Since that time he has shown no understanding, no empathy, and no interest in my medical problems. He's incredibly rude!

I found Dr.Doak to be a good person. He listens to you and lets you talk which is nice. He seems to me to care and he explains what and why he is doing. I will say this was my first visit and I was truly pleased

Cares about his patients wellbeing. Uses common language, not Dr. speak.

Dr. Doak was rude and unprofessional when he felt like his authority was being questioned. He was demeaning and had a rough physical manner. Even the nurse seemed uncomfortable with his behavior. It was difficult to get a referral to a specialist, perhaps again because he did not want his authority questioned.
