Dr. Gregory H Enders, MD

Dr. Enders is the greatest gastroenterologist in North Eastern PA. I saw 3 specialist before him for my ulcerative colitis. The previous doctors refused to prescribe me Lialda which is what I was on before for my UC. I was taken off the Asacol as it no longer worked for some reason I had been on it for years. I just kept flaring and I was on and off prednisone and those providers even though they had my medical records that I provided would not put me back on Lialda. Well there is no money in it for them if you are well. One visit with Dr. Enders I had a colonoscopy which the previous providers also didn't want to do and I was given the script for Lialda! Dr. Enders listens and truly cares about his patients you aren't just a number to him. The office nurse Ann is also truly amazing she is very thorough and she follows up. I will stay with Dr. Enders till he retires. Listen to the reviews you will not be disappointed.

Horrible! Spent 2 seconds with me. Barely listened to anything I said. Just threw the most common diagnosis at me which if he listened to anything I said, he would know that diagnosis is not correct. Going for a second opinion. Stay away!

Dr Greg Enders made me feel relaxed . He was very kind and after the test he explained everything so there was no unanswered questions. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you to him for everything.

This doctor asks a question, interrupts before you finish your first sentence. He has no interest in listening to the patient. If you don’t have a quarter of the information necessary to form a diagnosis, how can you make the correct diagnosis? He is only interested in tests or surgeries he can perform, whether warranted or not. I left the office feeling like a specimen under a microscope, not a human being. My meeting with Enders left me bruised and distrustful.

Dr. Enders is the most unfriendly, arrogant physician I have ever met. He needs some classes in bedside manner. I'm in the hospital for the 14th time with pancreatitis and this 'doctor' is telling me how I should feel. and could care less how I really feel. Well, we know he read his text books, but doesn't know how to interact with a patient. He's not allowed in my room any more. If I see him tomorrow making an attempt to come in, he will be removed. Putting it bluntly, he's a jerk that needs to have some of the surgeries his patients have had. Maybe then he will stop dictating a text book and understand what we live with every single day, and worse when we have flags oops, like I'm going through now. Stay away from him if you're looking for good GI doctor. I wouldn't recommend him as a pathologist. He would wake up the dead to tell them they died wrong! STAY AWAY FROM HIM IF YOU WANT A GOOD GI DOCTOR! He's a nightmare!

We needed to find an new gastroenterologists for insurances purposes. I stumbled on Doctor Enders and based on his experience and reviews, we decided to have him do the procedure. His bedside manner is a breathe of fresh air in the field of medicine where most physicians rarely consider talking to patient except to transfer a generic form of procedural information which most patients do not understand. Dr. Enders took the time to explain everything and answer any questions we had. Can't say enough good things about this doctor and would recommend him to anyone needing a gastroenterologist.

I have to say that , by far, this was the best Colonoscopy experience ever! Dr. Enders and his staff are awesome. I am definitely his best advocate!

I went to see him AFTER another gastro just tried to scare me into getting an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Dr Enders listens to what is bothering you. He actually spent time with me and listened to me. I hate Drs. Well, should say I pick them very carefully. He is very concerned with what is bothering you and guides you so "gingerly". I decided on my own to finally have the procedures and I am glad I did!! I felt so comfortable with him at my side just before the procedures and afterwards. His nurses and staff are TOPS!!. I am so glad that I found a doctor that actually listens to me!!
