Dr. Gregory Todd Fountain, MD

Dr Fountain has been my Dr for 29 years, he delivered my twins ???? and was there with us at my husband's funeral. He is like family to us. He is a wonderful caring Doctor.

If I had 100 babies I would want Dr.Fountain to deliver all of them! He delivered my first child (2015) and it was perfect . Everything from my routine visits to delivery to afterwards was exceptional . His bedside manner is great and he always takes the time to make sure you are comfortable, and your needs are met . I wish he could have delivered my second but due to my change insurance I had to choose a different OBGYN . I will forever be grateful for Dr.Fountain and his staff for taking such good care of me and my son .

Dr Fountain was my OBGYN for a couple of years. My chief complaint was irregular bleeding, as in having multiple periods a month, along with massive, heavy cramping. I was treated like a drug seeker, like there was nothing wrong. He even told me that I was going through menopause and that's why I kept bleeding more! I had a CT scan which showed cysts on my ovaries, and when he saw the report he laughed! Told me it was common and that was not my problem. Went for inpatient ablation, and he pierced my stomach wall with a surgical tool. After suffering 4 many many months, he finally agreed to a hysterectomy. We both agreed it would be a complete hysterectomy, including the uterus and ovaries. When presented with the paperwork to sign, he had me down for an incomplete hysterectomy! When I pointed it out to him, he asked me well do you want a complete hysterectomy? I told him I thought that's what we had agreed upon. When my uterus was examined by a pathologist, it was completely full of… tumors, thereby being the reason I was in so much pain and having so many periods with massive bleeding. I suffered way too long at the hands of this incompetent man.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gregory Fountain for years. I visited him twice in Johns Creek. And more than one year ago, he started to practice medical in Gwinnet Progressive Health Care for Women, which is 17 miles away from me. So I drove there to pay a visit to him yesterday, for he is very experienced and specialized in women health, and I trust him. It's always a pleasant experience to talk with him. He is kind, polite, and professional. He is able to make things clear and take my worry away in a few minutes. I feel fortunate to know him. I highly recommend him to anyone who has women health issue or concern. Dr. Fountain is a surgery doctor in this area.

Absolutely the kindest, and most knowledgeable dr. He delivered both of my babies, and he made the scary process so much better. Love him!

Dr. Fountain is the most caring doctor I've ever met. I went in because I thought I had a miscarriage. He took great care of me. Took a ton of tests to make sure I was okay. We found out that I had an ectopic pregnancy. The moment he found out; he rushed me into surgery. I am so thankful for Dr. Fountain and his amazing staff for saving my life.

Best Obgyn ever!!!!! He has delivered two of my children and looking forward to him delivering my third and last baby!

I had a problem with pain and inconsistent bladder. Dr. Fountain removed my ovary and used a sling for my bladder. Unfortunately, my body did not like the sling. Not a good situation for anyone. I know I maybe a rare case but it was my issue. Dr. Fountain has been so caring and understanding during this process. He tried everything he could befor he suggested removing the sling. I would cry from pain and could see in his eyes my pain hurt him as well. I could tell that he was frustrated that things did not work as planned in his words he wants to fix his patients problems. After he suggested surgery he also offered that I get a second opinion if I chose. I love him. He and his staff are great. They treat me like family. I saw another response about being treated different due to race. I am of another race and I Love this office and MY Doctor!

This doctor, without any warning or explanation, sent us a letter near the end of a pregnancy telling us not to ever come back. After trying to talk with him to find out why, he would not return any phone calls. When we tried to find another OB, we would be honest & tell them what happened & that we had no idea why. If they would contact him, he would say something to cause them not to take us, and we would, again, leave heart broken... and with no doctor... in the last trimester of a pregnancy. Finally, we found a practice who said they would take us & had no desire to call him. We came to this practice when it was under a different doc & bc we wanted a midwife. The midwife was wonderful. We will never know why he treated us so horribly, but would never want this to happen to anyone else. This would have been our 3rd baby with this practice. We are still astonished to this day.

Dr. Fountain is a fantastic Doctor. He was able to diagnose and treat my Urinary Incontinence issue even when another OB GYN Doctor was unsuccessful. I am so much better and much more comfortable than I have been in years. He is definitely a miracle worker. My problem is with his office manager. I have never in my life been treated so rudely and disrespectful as I have been treated by her. I was trying to schedule a simple surgery regarding another issue and her attitude towards me when I spoke to her in setting up my appointment was totally unprofessional and demeaning to me as a woman. I have never been in my life been treated this way by a person in my Doctors office. I was stunned. I felt that she did not care about me at all as a patient but was on a mission to bill my insurance for possibly an unnecessary procedure. She wanted to schedule this elective surgery immediately and would not answer any questions that I had about the surgery nor would she let me speak to Dr.… Fountain to answer my questions. I can not tolerate her attitude and the way she spoke to me that day. Even though I been seeing Dr. Fountain for over 8 years it has been only during my last two visits that I have had direct contact with her and they have not been pleasant at all. I will not tolerate this disrespect any longer. Unfortunately, I am in the process of finding a new OB GYN were I will not have to deal with her. I will miss Dr. Fountain but enough is enough.
