“I have practiced general dentistry since 1979. After graduating from St. Olaf College in 1975, I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 1979. I began my dental career in private practice in Minneapolis, before moving the practice to Bloomington in 1992. This really felt like a return home as my family has lived in Bloomington since 1965. I am happy and proud to serve this community as a general dentist for people of all ages. You might see me at the golf course, ski hill or on one of the Hyland Park Preserve Trails.”
Dr. Hanson provides gentle dentistry with a strong emphaisis on preventive dentistry to enable our patients to maintain optimal dental health. He keeps up to date on the most current technologies and techniques through extensive continuing education.
Dr. Hanson is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General …Dentistry. He is also an officer in the Minnesota Academy for Comprehensive Dentistry, a study group focused on the advancement of comprehensive restorative dentistry in the state of Minnesota.
Dr. Hanson is active in his church serving as past church council president, stewardship chairman, confirmation leader… and currently leads the environmental committee, Congregations Caring for Creation.
