Dr. Gregory Scott Harrah, MD

Dr. Harrah is a nice man. He does listen or at least make you think he is. His prescribing of medications is very concerning to me. He prescribed narcotics to me for many years rather than some safer options that were available. At times he had me taking from 5-8 different narcotic medications. Schedule II & Schedule III controlled substances. When my family, friends & more began questioning his rationale for this to me I began asking these questions to him. I was told he was the Dr. & knew more than anyone of my family, friends or colleagues. Well, he did not know that 3 close relatives of mine were in fact Doctors. Highly respected Surgeons with patients from around the world. I couldn’t disclose at that time that I worked with a NTF. He began to suspect it I believe & am sure he found out later. This is a family run operation that I had to call sometimes 4-5 times to get meds refilled. Sometimes the entirely wrong medication or dosages were called in. One time he called me in an… antibiotic while on a trip. I went to the pharmacy & as I was being checked out & paying for it his Medical Assistant/Office Manager/Wife called my cell phone. When I answered I was frantically asked if I had picked up my antibiotic? I said yes just got it in my hands. Then frantically yelling oh God don’t take it! Do not take it! We accidentally called in penicillin which you are highly allergic to! Give it back, don’t take it we’re calling the Pharmacist now to get you something else? I almost passed out because I was about 1 minute away from taking that penicillin! What if I had? Would I have lived to tell about it? I fired this Dr. after many years & many terrible close calls & major issues as a result of all the narcotics thrown at me practically. I had 3 Doctors tell me they had never seen such an absurd amount of highly addictive & dangerous narcotics prescribed to any one patient in their careers. I’m out! I was titrated off of all that junk. Do your research before taking anything prescribed to you or you could pay the ultimate price...

Dr Harrah is a very special M.D. He takes the time with his patients, treats them with respect and also he tells you of the plan he has for you with explanations in detail. This means alot to a patient, you know he has interest in you as a person and not a number, he never appears to be rushed while talking with a patient.He is very knowlegable and current with his practice, you can not find a more professional practice than that of Dr. Harrahs.

Dr. Harrah has been our family physician for over 12 years. He has the best bed side manner and truly cares for his patients' welfare. He is an excellent diagnostician and always listens carefully to my history and asks all of the right questions. We are so lucky to have found this shining star physican!

Very proffessional doctor and staff. Treats patients like a member of his own family. Small office , but big enough to get the job done. Convenient location , near hospital and lab services.

Dr. Harrah has been my physician for more than 10 years, and unlike many other physicians, he is willing to allow patients to fully participate in the process and listens carefully to all input.
