Very nice Doctor, was helpful, worked with the cancer center that guided my overall treatment, was very happy with him! Could not longer tolerate the inept office staff. Calling for test results was a five day calling effort. Prescription requests from my supplier went ignored and then required a week or more of calling. Too many in the office, no one appears to be in charge. No customer perspective shown by the office folks. Too bad, liked Dr Hoang but had to leave!

Office staff at Osler is inept, unresponsive and over staffed!

I was referred to Dr. Hoang after getting blood test results showing 2 gene mutations for some blood clotting disorder. He was sent my results & records about 2 weeks before my appointment. Upon arrival, I was put directly into a room with the typical paperwork. 45 minutes later, I finally met the doctor. He did not look over any of my paperwork I had just filled out, and proceeded to read me the results (which I already knew from my previous doctor). He refused to even look at the swollen vein in my leg. He then said he could not help me because he is unfamiliar with this disorder - that I had to go to the Mayo Clinic where there are doctors who could help. I had to take time off from work, pay a $60 copay, and have my insurance billed for him to tell me nothing! I had to wait a couple of days to get appointment scheduled with hime because my doctor said he had to review my records prior to accepting me as a patient. Knowing my results and knowing he had no clue, he still… took me in as a patient. He should had not even accepted me - just told me over the phone it was not an area in which he was versed. Very dishonest. I would not recommend going to Hoang unless you call in advance to see if knows anything about your specific issue. Total waste of my time & money.
