Dr. Gregory R. Hoffman, MD

Doctor Hoffman is always down to Earth, honest and helpful.

My visit with him was very brief and discriminatory. I saw some of the patients here comment on his sexual harassment. This doctor was disciplined by DOPL Utah's licensing agency for medical doctors because he was cheating on his wife with someone who works at the hospital. During the DOPL hearing he mentioned he was sorry and he loves his wife very much but I am not convinced nor am I convinced he should be working with patients.

Dr. Greg Hoffman is a very special person. He is always willing to listen to what I say, or what is bothering me. He seems to work very hard to get it right and follow up on things. My opinion, he is a great doctor.

I was the first appt of the day. Right outside the door I heard him say, "I hope my 1:30 appointment doesn't show up today so I can get out of here." That always makes a patient feel welcomed. I've only been to Dr. Hoffman once, prior to today. Yearly physicals. Today at my physical I asked for a Hep A shot since I had an experience where I had bought a fruit bouquet for a group of people and was contacted by the board of health regarding a possible Hep A contamination from that company. He said he doesn't normally give Hep A to people except for kids. I asked him why. I told him about my experience and that I have heard of several Hep A warnings at various restaurants in the SL valley. I asked his opinion. He cut me off and said. "Well I already ordered it ...if we even have one". So he was done talking about it. As if he couldn't un-order it. I would have liked a professional opinion to help me with my choice but I've wanted to get a Hep A shot since my experience. I felt really… confused. In my opinion, he just wanted to be done. Very unprofessional and very impersonal. And rude. Let me get out of your office so you can "get out of here".

Have been seeing Dr. Hoffman for 3 years. At the beginning I was very pleased with the care I was receiving and how he would take time to listen. Recently, I had an appointment for headaches which I related to having issues with my neck from a car accident and arthritis. He didn't seem to care and my husband had to ask about Physical Therapy. I know I am not the best patient in the world as I am sensitive to many drugs and have suffered with terrible side effects from them. Seems that Dr. Hoffman has changed since I first began seeing him; not so friendly and somewhat aloof. Not sure what to think, do I continue seeing him or look for someone else?

I had been looking for a primary care physician for several years without any luck. The past doctors I had seen were unfriendly, could care less about my family issues nor did they seem to want to be my doctor. The last one I saw actually walked out of the exam room without a word. Finally, my search is over with finding Dr. Hoffman. He cares, he truly does. He even was sympathetic when I told him my dog had to be out down. He owns a sweet dog himself and brings her to work. He allows me to go out back of the clinic and visit with her and take her treats. He's been doing everything but stand on his head to find a medication to help my blood pressure. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Hoffman and would recommend him to anyone.

Poor communication, Didn't listen to me. Didn't seem to care about my illness, just seemed anxious to get out and see next patient. Wish I had known he can't preescribe a lot of medicines that i need on a regular basis fr chronic back pain.
