Dr Hong was wonderful. Great with our son, the patient, who has some special needs. Came in knowing why we were there, clearly had reviewed history, labs that were forwarded. Listened to additional input we had, answered questions, gave us his thoughts, outlined testing needed as we try to figure out what's going on. We were very impressed and thankful we were referred to Dr. Hong.

Avoid at absolutely all costs. He doesn't want to treat his patients. He wants to kick you out the door, he has zero interest in digging into any issues you may have. I would say that you might get lucky if you have a massive pituitary tumor, he may help you (he doesn't even prescribe medication for small microadenomas if your prolactin isn't high enough, so you just sit there and suffer), but after reading these other comments, you still may not get lucky with treatment. I've seen him several times, and he literally cancelled my follow-up without telling me, because he thinks I'm not "sick enough" to be seen by him. Avoid him at all costs. I don't know how he has a license. I've never been treated so unethically by a specialist in my life. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid. Listen to your body. No one will care more about your life more than you, but doctors have an ethical obligation to at least care. Don't let this doctor, or any doctor, gaslight you into caring less about yourself. If… you go to him, that's what you're going to get, and you may end up paying with your life. It's not worth saving a trip, saving time or gas. Go somewhere else.
