Dr. Gregory Scott Hunt, MD

After swimming in the ocean for about an hour, I went into anaphylactic shock for the first time in my life, as I came out of the cold ocean water onto the hot sandy beach with my usual hives from the cold. i collapsed on the beach onto my beach chair and could not move, see, nor speak. However, I could hear. My friends knew that I had a history of panic disorder. However, they didn't realize that I had improved to the point of just having to avoid elevators. They informed the EMT's of this and I thought, oh no, this is not a panic attack. If it were, I would be making a lot of noise and my blood pressure would be off the roof, but I couldn't tell them because I couldn't speak, see, or move. The two very young EMTs called Dr. Hunt who listened to what was happening and later I was told I received EpiPen. Thank You Dr. Hunt for not believing this was a panic attack. I wouldn't be here today. You are a rock star!
