Dr. Gregory Alan Jeppesen, MD

Firstly, my history entails perforations of my sigmoid colon when I was merely 3 days old, and anastamosis (reversal of the previous colostomy to fix the perforations) was achieved when I was 1.5 years old. Fast forward to when I met Dr. Jeppesen. I was quickly becoming a common face at St. Charles Hospital, and time after time of being seen in the Emergency Room for abdominal pain (that would always return back as "normal" on a CT), this man, despite the CT showings, urged those on duty to admit me. I spent two weeks at the hospital while physicians (and he) discussed the possibility of adhesions on the OUTSIDE of my abdominal cavity from the previous surgeries. I was aimed in the correct direction of a man who performed an exploratory laparoscopy (Dr. Houston Johnson and my GYN Dr. Michelle Owen, bless them both), and after nearly 3 years of suffering, he was exactly right. Two surgeons spent 2+ hours cutting away tissue that was holding vital organs together like glue. This… man is the man who started my road to what I truly needed. THANK YOU DR. JEPPESEN!
