He was very compassionate and he answered all our questions. successful surgery and he made my sister feel at ease before the surgery.

Obviously a skilled surgeon, but multiple other factors lower his ranking significantly. You will not see him after surgery and if there are any complications, you are on your own. Does not make himself available to speak with any patient following surgery.

He basically saved my husband’s life. I will forever be thankful for him and the medical team at UAB. They have the brightest minds and were so caring and attentive. I cannot say enough about UAB’s GI Surgery Team. The absolute best.

He saved my mother's life when others made us feel hopeless. We met him and he was ready for the challenge that the surgery she needed would be! We are so grateful for the time he has given to us! I only wish he was still in Madison so he could be here for here again with his confidence and expertise!
