Dr. Lauro is an orthopedic surgeon. He is fellowship trained in reconstructive joint replacement surgery but also does orthopedic trauma. He is trained and experienced in doing the newest techniques of minimally invasive anterior hip replacement surgery and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Lauro attended University of Rochester School of Medicine and performed his Orthopedic residency at The Ohio State University .

Dr. Lauro specializes in Adult Hip and Knee replacement, revision and reconstruction. This entails procedures designed to reconstruct the arthritic hip and knee, as well as treat hips and knees that have been previously replaced but are failing due to wear, infection, and other conditions. We employ a very personalized approach to your care with responsive administrative support and skilled nursing. Our team approach ensures the shortest possible hospital stay and recovery. Our goal is to quickly return you to the activities that you value most.

Dr. Lauro did a Total Left Hip Replacement for me in April 2024. He did an excellent job replacing my left hip and resolving my severe pain. I am very pleased with the results and I can enjoy my life once again. My recovery was very quick. Dr. Lauro and his office staff took very good care of me and treated me with respect.

Total Hip Replacement. Dr. Lauro is both serious about his responsibility to patient but is also thorough.

Dr. Lauro is an excellent surgeon who is extremely knowledgeable. kind and compassionate. His staff is also very nice and professional. Dr. Lauro did a complete knee replacement and will soon do another on the other leg. I would recommend him to anyone. I never felt like a "new" patient. I think he is great!

Dr. Lauro did my total knee replacement and soon will do the other one. He is extremely compassionate, kind and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anyone. His staff is very kind as well and I never felt like a new patient.

Dr. Lauro did both my knee replacement and most recently my hip replacement. I highly recommend Doctor Lauro. The office staff has always been friendly and Doctor Lauro is a wonderful doctor.

Great job. I am very happy with my partial knee replacement. No pain while walking even on uneven surfaces. (Like walking through the woods and fields.)
