The shoulder surgery went well, but the recovery under his care did not. By the first visit, in spite of following his orders and doing everything as was supposed to, hand was beginning to swell. By the second visit, hand was extremely swollen. He never said what could be causing it or what I could do to make it stop swelling. By the time he started me on PT, my hand and fingers looked like they would explode. It wasn’t until my visit to my cardiologist that my cardiologist immediately ordered and ultrasound in case there was a blood clot and the PT ordered gloves with a leave for me to wear to try to alleviate the swelling. On the next visit because of my cardiologist Dr Lee finally stated that I should have an ultrasound and see a hand specialist. My wife and daughter and PT did research and my wife ordered new copper compression gloves and started me sleeping with hand even more elevated above my heart during night and a pillow for the car that would elevate my hand to heart… level. She discovered that the arm sling with pillow causes “sausage fingers” if/when the pillow falls and the arm ends up next to the body, when we went to the hand specialist, she agreed. When we went back to the next visit with Lee, my hand looked much better but I had lost some use of my hand because of the swelling. He was supposed and relieved that my hand looked better and we explained what my wife had discovered and what we were doing. Until now he had never mentioned what could be causing it and what could be done to alleviate. When we told him he had the nerve to say he had one other patient like that. If he knew all that time, why didn’t he say anything, I could’ve done so much more and avoided my hand becoming as it did. I still can’t fully close my hand. His patients should know what “sausage fingers” is what causes it and what can help alleviate and prevent it. It is the lymphatic fluid not emptying causing swelling dude to the sling. I’m thankful for the surgery that fixed my shoulder but he failed me in my recovery.

Doctor Lee and staff has always shown care, professionalism and true concern for the needs and recovery of the patient. His care has allowed me to resume once again the quaility life that I am use to and at the same time he make you feel very comfortable and listens to all of your concerns. A true Professional

Dr. Lee is an incredible doctor. He is very good with people, even the younger ages. I am 20, and he is great. He has never missed anything and is very personal with me. Gives great advice concerning my knee. It has been two years since my surgery and I am doing great!
