I first went to Dr. Lemite because someone I know worked at the hospital reccommended him. My father had a colonoscopy and his Dr. said it would be a good idea if his did also. I went and was fine. When I turned fifty my doctor said I should go again. I reccomend Dr. Lemite and will go again in the future.

First appointment. Wait time at the office was 1/1/2 hrs. He checked me out and said his office would call and schedule some tests. It's been 4 weeks and I haven't heard from them. I won't be using him as my Doctor.

I had been dealing with GI issues for almost 2 years before Dr. Lemite finally made a diagnosis and was able to help me get my Crohn's Disease under control. I had just about every test you could think of by two previous GI's and they found nothing. Even the doc at MCV who was supposedly one of the best with IBD came up with nothing and said it was stress and to see a psychiatrist (it was not flaring up during a period of very high stress a few month prior to my last visit to him and was under almost no stress when it flared back up). I immediately set up an appt with Dr. Lemite and he found that I had Crohn's but it was hidden deeper in my small intestine and couldn't be seen on either my upper endoscopy nor colonoscopy. Since that time he has helped me tremendosly and is a very caring person. Also one of the cleanest places I have ever been, even cleaner than any hospital I have ever been to.

Dr. Lemite is the 4th Richmond, VA area specialist I have seen in the last 20 years. I have been to many military doctors and civilian doctors and he is by far the most thorough and caring specialist I have ever seen in any specialty. My wife is a healthcare professional who works at one of the hospitals that Dr. Lemite practices at and even the hospital staff speaks very highly of him. That says it all when both the patients and the staff have nothing but nice things to say.I cannot stress enough how much of a caring professional he is and how much he has helped me!
