Dr. Gregory Scott Masimore, MD

Plays God. Not in control of himself. Throws tantrums. Higher than a kite. Can’t remember what he told you yesterday. Socially awkward. Comes off as a perv. He just gives off that ick vibe.

I was diagnosis ed as chronic and terminal in 2016. Started going to him was with him two years. He treated me worst than a dog from day one. He was never friendly, caring or showed empathy. His staff were like the female version of Trailer Park Boys. Trailer Bark... I had a 12 hour surgery and because I took pain meds home from the hospital after being in there for 6 days, he dropped me. And yelled at me while dropping me. Heard he allegedly/ legally can't open up office in Ohio any longer, that's where he's from. Don't go to him EVER.

He is absolutely wonderful. Staff are very nice. He has rules to follow, which are very reasonable. He is there to help you. If you don’t follow them that is your fault not his. He is very blunt and that to me is wonderful. Don’t hesitate to see him . If you truly need help with pain and want a plan he is the doctor to see.

I've been with him for about 5or6 years.I've never had a problem with him.he does have rules and if you don't do right then he has no choice but to drop you.and if your meds are short when you go to your app.then yes he's gonna send you on your way.that's your fault not his.suggest you should take your meds like he perscribes them.took me a couple years to find a good doctor and now I have I'm staying.and far as the help he has Brandy is the best.not his fault that there are to many lazy people in this world.He has helped me in many ways.He has rules he has to follow so you people complaining he cut you off.well you must have broken his rules.all he ask is that your medicine count is right when you come in and if it's not then he will drop you.So don't down him for your problems.he tells you the day you meet him that's will happen if you are short on your meds.so your fault.Hes not gonna risk his job and doc license for you.don't blame him...keep up the good work doc and brandy.....

I have been a Patient of Dr. Masimore for 3 years, and have found him to be very thorough, very professional and very compassionate. To some, he may seem intimidating, however, he is NOT a pill pusher, and he does take his position very seriously. Some of the comments which I have read about him, stating that, for whatever reason/excuse, that he is not a good Physician, is simply untrue. Dr. Masimore is not a pill pusher, and it is not uncommon for people to see a Doctor, in an attempt to just get pills. That does not work with this Physician. He takes his position very seriously, and is intent on treating patients who, in fact, do need to be seen, very thoroughly. Each patient is given the time that they need, in order to help Dr. Masimore, to understand their condition. It isn't a ten minutes in, and out the door. His staff is also very wonderful. They listen, they return phone calls, and they answer questions to the best of their ability. I am grateful for Dr. Masimore and his… wonderful staff. I would never hesitate to refer anyone to him, who truly needs help.

I can honestly say that I have been with Gregory Scott Massey Moore for five years and I missed a pill count and because I am on oxygen he called me high-risk and dismissed me and literally talk to me like a dog I really wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone he's always got an attitude he literally thinks he's God to everybody he is annoying I have seen him make his staff cry his staff don't even know if he likes them he has two women working for him Medicaid has dropped him according to Ohio that is due to alcohol and drugs because he is an alcoholic himself and in one year I've seen the man go from Black headed to straight almost White headed don't know much about his personal life but from the looks of the outside it must really suck I needed him worse than I have ever needed him I've got six teeth to be pulled I have throwed my hip out my number one pain is I have an l4 and l5 and an s-1 slip disc in my back with a pinched nerve and he didn't even care he made me feel like a dog… today and I cried and I begged him not to dismiss me I was short 4 pills 4 pills and he give me six a day and he let me go over that it was wrong I would not recommend him to no body and I'm like the other person on here the only good reviews he has has to be coming from family or friends because he is very rude for 6 years I went in there every month wondering if the man even liked me because his bedside manners are so rude he's got a lady working in there by the name of Brandy I've seen her in there so sick she couldn't hold her head up he has two women in there carrying the load of 10 because nobody even wants to work for him anymore I think it's time he be shut down medicaid has already dropped him hardly any pharmacies will fill his script I think he's a wash up in a washout and like I said the other ones on here given him good reviews have to be family or friends

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. The wait times are very long and then when u finally get into a room he is rude and arrogant. He will not let u get a word in, he talks very fast and if you ask him to repeat something he gets angry. He is verbally abusive to not only patients but his own staff. I have seen his employees crying because of him being rude to them. He will accuse u of abusing your medication when u are not. If u ask questions he will tell u not to over talk him or he won’t see u again. He lost his license to practice in Ohio for drug and alcohol abuse. He himself is an alcoholic. He also had the DEA come into his office at my first appointment and the seized all his stuff for investigation. That is more than likely why only 2 pharmacies accept his prescriptions. If u want verbally abused treated less than human and to be treated like u are an addict then this is the perfect place for u

I was one of Dr. Masimore first patients when he took over for Dr. Barger. He did practice in Ohio before taking over for her. My first visit with him was a Friday, I had been there 8hrs after working a 6hr shift at work, I had not been home, had not seen my children or husband. He decides it’s too late and he was ready to go home it was 10pm at this point. I knew all the nurses very well as I had been a patient of Dr. Barger for over ten years. He leaves and the nurses were shocked patients in wheel chairs not getting their medicine nurses told everyone to come back Monday! I was irate. So I see him in the parking lot and yes I couldn’t help it I called him out told him what he was doing was wrong he cussed screamed at me and drove away. I then seen him for about 4yrs, him flip flopping my medication never stable medicine always a new plan. So to make it easier my husband decided he would see him as well we would have appointments on the same day and time. My husband was very abusive!… He had beat me up called me names before my appointment. I told Dr. Masimore this crying and in shambles not knowing what to do. He cut me right then and there!! He said he wasn’t getting in the middle of my situation??!! What?? I have divorced this man and have tried to go back to Masimore nope he won’t take me back. I haven’t been to a dr since. I’m in major pain. He also fired every single one of Dr. Barger’s nurses that had been with her for yrs!! Do not go to this dr!! Don’t think for one minute he will not turn his back on you in your greatest hour of need!!!

I wish I had read the reviewsbefore making appt. Unlike others, I don't assume bad reviews come from "dopers". Just the opposite. I was treated just like they were, til I talked back! Was hurting & waiting hrs didn't help. So when your dr comes in w/attitude, you snap. Happen to just women?

Worst Dr. I have ever gone to. He treated me terrible and talked to me in a way NO DR. SHOULD. Talked to me as if I was ignorant. I am not and I know my body. I am in my 60s. I asked him to slow down I could not understand him and he said he would quiz me when I came back. And I have never in my life experienced a Dr. with such anger and arrogance. I tried to talk to him and he told me if I talked over him we would not get along. I was in tears when I finally walked out. I will NOT GO BACK.I am still so upset over this. I just never thought a Dr. would be this mean.And this is not all I could say.
