a minute agoNEW Avoid at all cost, the absolute worst doctor anyone could see for anything.First and last time there at 40 bey lea road Toms River. Not helpful in anyway, does not care about you and has no knowledge for your health. Not nice and very arrogant. Beware and stay away, your better off going to a walk in place.

Clean office, staff takes measures to keep everything santized between patients during COVID, even pens used by patients are not used again! Felt very safe and protected. Dr. Meli did not keep me waiting and was I was assisted punctually. Dr. Meli has a friendly bedside manner and thoroughly addressed all my concern. I would recommend Dr. Meli and his office.

dr is hired by the veterans administration he is the worst example oof whst a medical professional is supposed to be he's not doing his job veterans are not getting your fair share if they happen to get him when they walked in the door I had the worst experience of my life with this man and subsequently I am writing to the director of the veterans administration in washington d_c this guy has to go

Had to see doctor same day for problem. Staff was courteous and assisted to schedule me in the same day. Dr Meli was thoroughly addressed my problem and I was given both a medication prescription and referral to see a specialist for further evaluation. The specialist confirmed the same diagnosis as Dr. Meli and I am on the path to recovery. My thanks to Dr. Meli, if my problem was not diagnosed by him that day , I would not be so fortunate today!

He gave me prescription for z-pak which is low strength antibiotic. After 4 days it didn't work for me so I called their office to see if they could call in a stronger antibiotic (I have a sinus infection) They told me I would have to go in for a follow up visit, which would mean another copay plus coinsurance. I told them I was just there and that I can't afford another copay right now being I also had to take my daughter to the dr as well. PLUS I WAS JUST THERE 4 DAYS AGO AND HE GAVE ME A WEAK ANTIBIOTIC! They told me to just take mucinex and breath in steam. I should have known they were all about $$ because they had a big sign in their office that they charge you $25 if they have to call your insurance to get an authorization for a prescription. If you go to this dr and need antibiotics make sure he gives you a real antibiotic like amoxicillin. Z-pak will most likely make you have to go for a 2nd visit (which is why he probably prescribes that on purpose)
