Dr. Michas is a very kind and compassionate doctor who is very knowledgeable. He saved my life and not only am I living, I’m thriving and accomplishing things I never imagined were possible.

Dr. Michas is one of the most thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable, and responsive psychiatrists I’ve worked with. He takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing how closely physical and mental health are connected, and has been incredibly supportive in helping me manage both. His thoughtful treatment has made a significant positive difference in my overall mental and physical well-being. One quality that has always impressed me is how well he remembers our previous conversations—even when appointments are several weeks or even a couple of months apart. He consistently follows up on where we left off without me having to remind him, which makes me feel truly heard and understood. He also takes an active interest in my overall stability, including my housing and employment… goals, rather than focusing only on medications. Dr. Michas is also exceptionally responsive. Whether through the patient portal or by phone, he communicates promptly, and if I’m experiencing severe symptoms, he’s willing to arrange an urgent Zoom appointment or help with medication adjustments when appropriate. Knowing that level of support is available provides tremendous peace of mind. I also appreciate that he spends our appointments actively listening instead of constantly looking down to take notes. He has an excellent memory for my history and treatment plan, which allows our sessions to feel conversational, focused, and productive. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who is compassionate, direct, highly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in his patients’ long-term well-being, I cannot recommend Dr. Michas highly enough.

Dr. Michas has been a massive life changing help to me and those around me by helping me find the right medications I need and has done so while making me feel unjudged and always having a positive outlook on the future.
