Dr. Gregory James Miller, MD

Needs more finesse introducing the hard questions and doesn’t seem to like what he does.

The only trouble with this survey is that you CANNOT go with stars lower than one! He was asked by another doctor to come see my husband in the Cancer Clinic at LDS Hospital. I can tell you the minute he walked in, I knew he would be HORRIBLE! Not a friendly man at all!!!!! The arrogance in this man is the worst I have seen. He seemed so put out to even be there. I would not recommend this provider to my worst enemy! Do yourself a favor and STAY COMPLETELY AWAY!

My husband has sickle cell anemia which means that on a daily basis he deals with pain normal individuals could never comprehend, and this disease lands him in the hospital often if not prevented with pain prevention efforts. Twice my husband has tried to contact Dr. Miller for prescriptions and both times the doctor has not communicated whatsoever with us. Yesterday, my husband called constantly to get a hold of him, and he never once called us back, and I almost had to take my husband to the ER for help because of Dr. Millers' neglect. He has completely neglected his healthcare oath that all doctors commit to. We wouldn't recommend this doctor to even the most desperate patients.

This Dr routinely falsifies medical records. I received my medical records and many times Dr. Miller very inaccurately stated what was going on, he twisted information and didnt stick to the facts. When asked difficult questions about care, treatment options, and his knowledge about effects of chemotherapy his responses were very far off from what other Doctors were saying when given the same information. Dr. Miller also wont address pain issues and makes you feel like you are asking for help in an area you shouldnt be. Having chemotherapy and cancer can leave you in real pain and he makes it seem like its all in your head. I have never been treated so poorly by another human being as I have by Dr. Miller. I wouldnt recommend anyone see this man!

DO NOT see this man if you have pain and need someone to figure out why. Not only could he not figure out my mother's pain, he treated her like a drug addict for requesting pain medication after a series of nasty surgeries and treatment. His notes are EXTREMELY inaccurate (it came to the point we requested copies), his bedside manner is profoundly apathetic, he does not keep up on the latest treatments and research (we had to ask all the questions, he never proactively offered us any useful advice), and he refuses to prescribe pills for very real and debilitating pain. Granted, doctors deal with a lot of addicts, but if you're in the field of pain management, you ought to be open to helping people manage their pain and sometimes, sadly and due to current limits, narcotics are all there is. Do not see this doctor.
