Dr. Gregory Gerhard Pellizzon, MD

I was referred to this doctor by my family doctor as I was experiencing a pain (not in my chest) that tests could not determine the cause. My primary doctor decided to rule out various components by seeing professionals in the field (stomach, colonoscopy, heart, urologist, etc.) I wasn't going to see this doctor due to any heart symptoms. The appointment itself went well and the doctor said I was fine, that it was not my heart that was causing the pain and to see him in a couple of years. Whew, right? Well, a couple months down the road it was determined a kidney stone may be causing the problem and I needed cleared for surgery by the heart doctor. Dr Pellizzon apparently did not remember what he told me (a one/first time patient) and failed to take proper notes so, the day prior to surgery, he would not sign off, saying I needed another test, and my surgery was cancelled. I had my work, out of town relative for ride and stay, etc. all lined up and this doctor's inability to… remember patients and/or take proper notes for the future cost me not only time, but money since I have to start all over. Since that cancellation, I talked to his office receptionist who recommended I talk to the office manager. I've left three messages, one on each business day after the cancellation, with no return call. I will never use this doctor or the office he is affiliated with again!

Dr. did not show up for appointments on multiple occasions.

Dr. Pellizzon is an excellent cardiologist. He took the time to listen to me as a patient. So many doctors are textbook only, meaning they can't think outside the bounds of what the textbook says. Dr. Pellizzon knows how to treat and diagnose by listening, evaluating and correcting the problem. I had a different cardiologist run all kinds of cardiac tests on me and all of them came back normal and he said I was fine and sent me on my way. I knew something wasn't right so I got a second opinion from Dr. Pellizzon. Dr. Pellizzon took it a step further and found that I actually had 80% blockage in my main artery. Thank goodness I found him! Highly recommended!
