Dr. Gregory James Raff, MD

I was always hesistant to have a male doctor. I ended up having Dr. Raff b/c my doctor (that I really loved as well) went on Maternity leave. Dr. Raff makes you feel like he will not rest until your questions are answered. He takes time to make you feel at ease and go over everything that you need to cover without making you feel uncomfortable. I'ver recommended him to everyone I have ever had a conversation about OB/GYN topics to. Outstanding doctor with obvious morals and excellent professional demeanor.

I like everything about Dr. Raff. He listened to my fears and patiently explained the various exams, test results and diagnosis. I was afraid and had a lot of questions. Dr. Raff spent at least 15 minutes listening to my concerns and desires for my treatment. The time from the abnormal pap, follow up exams, biopsy results and the rhysterectomy was from Aug to Feb. Dr. Raff patiently explained each procedure; biopsies, hysteroscopy (sic) and ultrasound results and WE decided that a hysterectomy necessary. Dr. Raff performed a SILS hysterectomy and my recovery was complete with zero complications. Tylenol was sufficient for post surgical pain relief. I had scant bleeding for one day after the surgery (no bleeding since). I have no visible scars. I was blessed to have received such awesome care. Dr. Raff is the best!

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Raff, he got me pregnant with my daughter 10 years ago and I am currently having pain problems. He remembers me after so many years, is very kind and seems to be really concerned about his patients. I am currently trying to rush everything while he is being serious and concerned of my issues.

Dr. Raff is a VERy carin Dr. You don't get a feeling that he is there to get paid. He pays attention to detail and is very personable. I couldn't imagine having any other OB/GYN. If I decdie to have children, out of network or not, I will be making sure Dr. Raff is my OB/GYN!

Dr. Raff performed a partial hysterectomy on me at Clarion West. He was professional with a caring bedside manner. He explained the entire procedure to me prior to surgery including potential problems and what he would do to prevent these problems. In the course of the procedure he ran into unforeseen conditions including multiple bowel adhesions and a partially folded uterus which he handled with competence. I am very glad that Dr. Raff was my surgeon. I would recommend him without reservation to any woman requiring a gynecologist or obstetrician.

Although Dr. Raff has many patients to see throughout his clinical days, he always makes me feel like he has personally set an entire day aside just for me...just to handle "MY" needs/concerns. Dr. Raff has always sat down to talk with me and really listen to me about my concerns. No matter how complicated my issues seem to be, he always has a way of making me feel like he will NEVER give up on me (as so many Doctors have in the past). If every doctor could have his care, compassion, knowledge & skill, I believe more people would find their doctor visits to be a more pleasant experience.

Dr Raff has been my gyn dr for the past 8 yrs and i trust him fully with my care. i recently had a full hysterectomy and when i was told i could pick my surgeon, it was a no brainer as to have dr raff perform this procedure.

Dr. Raff is one of the best OBGYN doctors I have ever been to. He is very kind, listens to what you have to say and fully explains everything to you, including the procedures of the visit. He is very willing to work with you in resolving any issues you may be having and gives you many different options. Being a former victim of sexual abuse I was very nervous going in to a male doctor but Dr. Raff's was always very professional, and very caring. He even took the time to bring up hobbies I had mentioned previously during the exam to ease my nerves and make me more comfortable and as I mentioned before he thoroughly explained everything. As a side note, he never knew of that history, it's simply how he treats his patients. I would, and have, recommended Dr. Raff to my anyone in the Indy area.

I would never recommend this physician. Dr. Raff made confusing inappropriate jokes during my OB-GYN appointment. He failed to follow agreed upon course of treatment during surgery. When Dr. Raff cannot come up with a diagnosis, he becomes defensive and insults the patient. I was left in severe physical pain after hysterectomy surgery. Dr. Raff refuses to see patients for 30 days following surgery. It was a punishing, brutal experience. I lost faith in the medical profession because of Dr. Raff.
