Dr. Gregory Stephen Redmond, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Redmond for over 10 years. I think he is the best, no-nonsense doctor. Wold recommend him and recommended him to many people.

He seems more concerned to keep his appointment times rather to listening to me as a patient.

On his UCDMC profile, Dr. Redmond says he listens to patients and cares about them personally. This is far from true. His personality is robotic and he is concerned only with completing the required fields on his ever-present computer. He is fine with referrals, but practices minimal medicine himself.

Dr. Redmond looks you right in the eyes when talking to you. He is professional and, I believe, really cares about you and your health. Redmond is intelligent, straight forward, and kind. Visits with him are usually short. I think this is because he is an excellent communicator and gets to the root of the problem quickly. SOME of his office staff and nurses could stand to be more polite and professional but Dr. Redmond is exceptional. I feel lucky to have him as a doctor--but then I shopped around.

Great doctor. Thoughtful and listens to what you are saying. I have been to so many doctors who give you patronizing and arrogant responses that show they think you are either making something out of nothing or won't understand what they are talking about. Dr. Redmond is just the opposite. He takes time to understand your issues, takes your thoughts seriously and does it in a very kind and gentle way.
