Dr. Gregory V Richardson, MD

I was under dr. Richardson while inpatient and he made things so much more confusing and worse. I came in suicidal and was told I was a “selfish toddler brat who needed to grow up” because I was struggling with an eating disorder. He told me everyone was actually annoyed by me and he was the only one brave enough to tell me, leaving me questioning my identity. The only reason I even made it through that stay was good nursing and tech staff.

He created trauma in me rather than healing.

Everyone seems to get the same Dx. He gets extremely angry when anyone appears to be questioning him. Is not respectful to staff or patients.

I'd been to several different therapists over a few years, but it was Dr. Richardson was I finally clicked with & who helped me. He found the right diagnosis, and the right medicine (I'd tried several before but none worked right). He's changed my life for the better, forever. It's been several years since I stopped seeing him, & I still think about him and everything he did for me, and helped me to do for myself. I'm sincerely, eternally grateful.

Dr Richardson was very cold and callous during both my intake and follow-up visits at Cornerstone Behavioral Health. He stated he was happy I'd brought in some records as he "didn't have anything on me yet" although he flippantly glanced at them and gave me a diagnosis within five min.He said, "Well, I don't have all day to sit and talk with you; I've got a meeting to run."His demeanor was callous, his professionalism was nil, he was cold, uncaring and simply rude.
