I left after about 7 years as his patient. He was never afraid to tell me that he never heard of my symptoms, with the implication that the patient is stupid. For one case, thank goodness for PAs at a doc-in-a-box clinic for a proper diagnosis that resulted in an emergency operation and ten-day hospital stay. In another case, I argued - argued - that a pain moving from my back to my pelvis was described online as possibly a UTI and not a figment of my imagination; thanks again for the doc-in-a-box clinic to confirm this and prescribe antibiotics before kidney damage. The last straw was the opposite: insistence that I needed an operation when I was sure he and an experience-seeking specialist were wrong. That's when I left and now, a few years later, all of my body parts are still with me and I'm an old guy feeling to be back in good health after throwing prescription medications and regular doctor visits in the trash. Can't be more specific about the operation and the non-operation… because I don't want to identify myself. Now, a few years later, I'm researching for a new PCP for annual check-ups and felt a moral obligation to leave my experience when I saw this guy listed here. Keep in mind that it's easy for a provider like this to earn stars for promptness when he's doing nothing but assembly line prescription writing (or dismissing your "imagination") in absence of taking time for a thoughtful diagnosis.
