Dr. Gregory Earl Robinson, MD

Dr. Robinson is a very laid back quiet type and it takes awhile to get ya patient Doctor relationship rhythm with him. If you go in demanding things that he doesn't feel warranted he can be blunt and passionate about his opinion against it, so suggesting treatments or ideas in a what do you think manner will get you further with him rather than trying to tell him what he should do. He will facilitate any reasonable request and after working with him for awhile he becomes more personable and talkative. He will not hesitate sending you to a professional specific doctor for consultation to make sure your work-up and treatment is complete. It's worth getting through the initial get to know period with him as he is a tentative, knowledgeable and caring doctor once you do.

He was my doctor for two years before i moved out of state. I appreciate his knowledge and how he could find what was wrong with me. He is a quiet individual and some people take that as not being concerned.

Dr. Robinson is competent and thorough. He always reviews my chart quickly. He is direct and too the point. His appointments never run behind.

Definitely an excellent physician

I was not at all impressed with either Dr. Robinson or his front office staff. I also felt as if he did not allow me to present my views of my own situation and, i.e. he wasn't the best listener. His front office staff was not polite, possibly due to a bad day perhaps, however I noticed it on subsequent visits and with other patients. I had originally brought in my elderly mother and assumed that even though we had sub par treatment from him and his staff with her, that it might not happen again. That was a big mistake and I take responsibility for it. I also called my insurance company to complain about him due to some inaccuracies with his billing. To their credit, they removed these charges, however this never would have been done if I had not called my insurance company. I would avoid this doctor and I have actually convinced two patients to no longer continue with him.

Any time I tried to become a part of the decision-making process regarding my treatment, he either stonewalled me, condescended to me, or accused me of being argumentative. He appears to have control issues.

I had an excellent first visit with Dr. Robinson approximately 10 months ago. From then on, he was very abrupt with me, and when my mental state and physical pain was so great that I sat in his office crying, while he wrote stuff down, without expressing any concern, showed me that he lacks empathy. Also, having had two X-rays under his direction, he never showed them to me. But, he showed my husband his X-rays. Dr. Robinson needs to stick with male patients who don't require much communication. I hope he doesn't have any daughters, because they will be miserable with him as a dad.
