Dr. Gregory Henry Scimeca, MD

Dr. Scimeca was my ophthalmologist for a couple years ending late 2024 when he performed laser cataracts procedure implanting a panoptix lens (cost, $4000). This option was unequivocally incorrect because of my severe astigmatism and corneal irregularities. Unfortunately, my sensory 'antennae' alerting me to his deceptive communication style, rushed visits, and lack of transparency occurred too late; and I went forward with this procedure receiving very little vision improvement. Additionally, his last recommendation (before I moved on) was to replace the lens of the other eye with a toric lens. I have since moved to a different practice where I am planning removal of the panoptix lens. Moreover, I've learned that there is no evidence of cataracts in the other eye (at least not enough to warrant removal and replacement) and corneal irregularity is also evident, further demonstrating Dr. Scimeca's utter failure to serve as my ophthalmologist.

Dr Scimeca is the very best! He really knows his stuff and he taught other eye surgeons how to do what he does. I couldn't recommend him more highly, and his office there in Willingboro has a friendly and professional staff who are more than willing to help. My cataract surgery went off without a hitch, I felt no pain and was not afraid once we got started. I can see again for the first time in years! I couldn't recommend him more highly or his office! If you want the best, then you most definitely want Doctor Scimeca, He and his staff were absolutely wonderful!

I had an excellent outcome after having bilateral cateract surgery, on my final postoperative appointment I explained to Dr. Scimeca how dry my eyes felt, he took the time to examine my eyes and found the oil glands in my eyelids were completely blocked, Dr. Scimeca was able to unblock the glands which no other eye doctor had ever done and I've suffered with dry eyes over 10 years, after other doctors prescribed eye drops, which never helped not even prescription drops, I'm finally not suffering from dry eye syndrome, THANK YOU Dr. Scimeca. You are a very special doctor that treated me with special care

Awesome experience with Dr. Scimeca from start to finish. He removed my cataract and 2 days later I have 20/20 vision in that eye. I would recommend Dr. Scimeca and his facility to anyone.

Had cataract removed felt like there was something in my eye lasted for 2 years also I see a line on my left side. He told me my pupil was bigger than lense I had the other eye done elsewhere they measured my eye outcome was excellent

I have been going to Dr. Scimeca for several years now and have found him to be very thoughtful, compassionate and thorough at all times. He is a very quiet man, but makes me feel comfortable. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and he went out of his way to be available for follow-ups. I highly recommend him to anyone who asks if I know of an opthalmologist.

Have been seeing Dr. Greg Scimeca for many years. This year when I made my appt., I was told it was with him. When I arrived, I was "reassigned" to some student Doc Allyson Mass. It was a horrid experience. She graduated 2 months ago and refused to perform things that Greg Scimeca did for me. I will NEVER go to this place again.

Dr. Scimeca is not only a great physician, he is a WONDERFUL surgeon!!! He is a gifted surgeon. I highly recommend him to all my family and friends for cataract surgery!
