Dr. Gregory Brian Scott, DO

I’m a cancer survivor, diagnosed at aged 31. I believe Dr Scott declined medical intervention due to my young age at cancer onset. He negligently mis-read my x-ray exam which should have been referred to a radiologist, then demanded I seek physical therapy in a manner which only worsened my symptoms and complicated a surgery which was easily diagnosed by an oncological surgeon reviewing the same xray. In short, Dr Scott was overtly responsible for the deterioration of my physical health when his age bias and medical negligence presupposed my medical condition. As an individual with known diagnosis of myxoid liposarcoma cancer who has undergone extensive treatment and oncological intervention, not the least of which was femoral and hip reconstruction, I was shocked by Dr Scott’s refusal, and the negligence of his care team, to provide any type of response to my needs (after one week) when messaged via My Chart. Please find care from anyone else. Dr Scott has mediocre medical value.

Dr. Scott’s apathy is poignant and all-consuming. The only time he showed honest emotion was when I told him I’m an alcoholic and need rehab. Instead of concern, he expressed frustration that I hadn’t told him sooner—unaware I’d never told anyone before. I also told him my grip strength had suddenly deteriorated from a neck injury a neurosurgeon previously said might require surgery if symptoms worsened. Dr. Scott dismissed it, saying my MRI looked “within range” for a man my age—contradicting the specialist. He also refused to prescribe non-addictive ADHD drug to help me transition off very addictive ADHD drug, before inpatient rehab, solely because I’m leaving Kaiser in two weeks. I’m fighting for my life right now. He made me feel like it wasn’t worth the trouble.

Dr. Scott and all his staff are very professional, loving and kind. They treated my dogs with compassion and great care. Always tries conservative treatment when possible...

Dr. Scott has treated my Mom for the past two years. He is accessible and very willing to discuss patients needs. Bedside manner is caring and compassionate and he knows his stuff for sure. Recommend him highly.

He is incompetent. He asked for a COPD/lung test. I took it in his office. He told me the results were "moderate" but when I requested a copy of the test results I saw that it was "minimal" BIG difference. I asked him to check my ears for possible fluids and he told me he did not have the necessary instrument in his office.
