Dr. Gregory Shifrin, MD

Had a distressing experience at this clinic recently with Dr Gregory Shifrin. I visited for an annual OBGYN check and was informed of cysts on my ovaries. The doctor recommended surgery, but unfortunately, the outcome was not what I expected. The surgeon performed a procedure, but it didn't address the cyst. To make matters worse, in the follow-up, a sonogram revealed that the same cyst was still present in my ovary. My attempts to communicate with the surgeon were met with unprofessional and rude behavior, as they disconnected calls and failed to provide an explanation for the procedure's outcome. Overall, I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with this practice. The doctor didn’t even want to discuss the situation after the surgery. I called my insurance and didn't authorize the payment. He is very underestimated. I strongly advised others to consider their well-being and safety before choosing this clinic for their medical needs.

I’ve a patient of Dr.Shifrin for more than 20 years.He did my surgery 4 years ago and he is great.He is very knowledgeable and always professional and prescribe the proper treatment.Its very convenient that you can have ultrasound and blood work done all the same visit and he discussed the treatment and results of your tests right away.His office staff is great and I highly recommend Dr.Shifrin to everyone who is looking for knowledgeable doctor who really cares about their patients.

I cannot express all the bad experience it has been...the staff is not pleasant, the facilities are old and the Doctor forces you to do not necessary test and spend the time, not being professional. They do not respect the public prizes they have at the entrance. A scam. It deserves an inspection.

Avoid to go because he makes you procedures which are not necessary just to earn money.

From manager Lina to the receptionist they ALL rude. Highly unprofessional. Poor interpersonal skills. They laughs at sick patients when they ask questions about their health. What a disgrace!! I read other negative feedback and they all seem to bring up the same rude and condescending behavior towards patients.

he doesn't even deserve the one star! Im 100% sure that his excellent reviews are from his coworkers/ family. Anyhow, ive been a patient of this idiot for nearly 7 years. after MANY unnecessary "polyp" removals and so on i was diagnosed with hyperplasia at the age of 24 which is precancerous cells in the uterus. After a 15 minute convo of him telling me to start these very hormone pills for 18 months.... He sat back and told me to go for a second opinion. i left that day with all my dr records and never returned. I went to an amazing oncologist on Madison Ave and east 61st NY..... She was mortified when i told her what he said (he also told me i wouldnt have kids unless i do another procedure) and that the hormone pills were not necessary for 18 months and you take it only for short amount of time- everything else is OK and i did not need the other procedure. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HIM...... ESPECIALLY MY GENERATION WHO WANTS KIDS

This man should’ve had his lisence revoked years ago!!! He has misdiagnosed me and people I know who went to him just so he can try and get us to do unnecessary procedures! He’s a lying business man who uses expired material( knew a girl who worked for him as an ultrasound tech) not only is he rude but he makes sexual inappropriate jokes with all his patients! Stay away!!!! I personally ended up with an infection after a regular visit to his office... wouldn’t wish this experience upon my worst enemy!
