Dr. Gregory J. Shypula, MD

Dr Shypula is always in a hurry, unpleasant and doesn’t care for explaining anything. He takes 5 min to type his notes in to his computer, doesn’t give me a chance to ask questions. He doesn’t care how am I doing or feeling. I am very Disappointed of his office visit.

I made an appointment for the antibody test. I called and specifically said that I tested positive for Covid 19 5 weeks ago and I needed to have the antibody test done as the city of Woodbridge recommended to me. As soon I arrived I explained myself once again and they slammed the glass window in my face and refused to take care of me. I never felt so discriminated and humiliated, they told me that they would call me back on Monday and they never did. This people are in the wrong field. Please Keep it away from this office. This is the worst doctors office that I ever been. No medical ethic what so ever. No one is at fault to test positive for this virus.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Shypula. On the day of appt, the secretary said: “I don’t have you in my system”, “the doctor cannot see you today”. Disappointed; I made another appointment for 3 weeks later as there was nothing available any sooner. On the day of my 2nd scheduled visit, I called to confirm my appointment an hour before to avoid any confusion. Once again the secretary said: “I don’t see you have any appointment today”. I told her that this is the 2nd time someone is doing this to me; she said “hang on” and came back few minutes later and luckily found my appointment. I reached 30 minutes before my appointment time to do paperwork. The reception room was full of nearly 9-10 patients (it seems they probably call all patients for the day at about the same time and have them wait). An hour past my appointment, no one called me to see Dr. Shypula, nor told me if it was going to be late and how late. There were still several more patients waiting. I decided… to leave as Dr. Shypula has no value for patient’s time and his office staff is poorly organized – if at all. I will have to find someone else to try my luck. I simply do not understand how most people in this elite group of highly educated professionals never learn time management in med school; they seem to get some special pleasure and pride in making patients wait, and simply do not value patients’ time.

He's a great doctor. He performs bone marrow procedure so painlessly. He's the best.

I waited for two hours. The doctor dictated into his computer, hardly ever looked at me. Rushed me out without answering questions. Sent me $50 for follow up appointment that I cancelled. Not a healer.

Dr. Shypula has been treating my mother for years now. He is caring and gets things done. Him and his office staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office.

My brother had abnormal lab work and was referred to Dr. Shypula. Within one week we had our first apppointment and all necessary testing was scheduled and completed. He was diagnosed with leukemia and treatment was started within 10 days of our original phone call. We found Dr. Shypula to be a very professional, knowledgeable, caring doctor. He explained everything in a manner we could understand and answered all of our questions and concerns. His staff was very courteous and pleasant in a difficult time. I would highly recommend this Doctor and office to all.

This doctor is the worst! He's always late getting to his office. His waiting room is packed, and there is no privacy. He is an oncologist and his doors are left wide open while you are in the examining room. I've never seen such a thing. I will not be going back to this doctor!

He is not personable. He has way too many patients. I saw him every two weeks and every visit was like I was meeting him for the first time. The worse doctor ever. He only cares about money. I had upper respiratory infection coughing alot while on blood thinners. There is the possibility of the vessels bursting in your lungs if you cough too much. He listened to my lungs said I was fine then sent me home. I went to my primary physician and he said I had bronchitis and put me on antibiotics. I highly recommend another doctor. He charges $350 per visit and all he does is have blood drawn and says I am fine on his recorder even after I tell him I feel terrible. His staff is terrible to work with. One person in the office was very unprofessionable and impolite. She actually got in my face and started to yell at me. The worse place ever.

My entire family respects and loves him! The only downside of this doctor is the wait time. He is thorough, caring, and extremely knowledgable! His wait time only suffers because each of his patient's get the individual attention they need!
