Dr. Gregory Alan Somich, DO

Visited the ER with my pregnant partner and experienced neglect, lacking medical attention and bad attitude from the medical staff. Wellington regional is a hospital that puts process over compassion and paper pushing over patient care. Avoid this hospital at all costs, unless you intend to sue for neglect or malpractice- in which case you may be in luck on multiple levels. Specifically, I’d like to call out Dr. Gregory Somich as hostile, disregarding and negligent towards the patient, made mistakes causing delayed care and in general did everything to impede on our care rather than provide it. He should be fired and disgraced.

came to ER with intense abdominal pain and vomiting, could not pass gas or stool. The snarky man left me sit in pain in ER the entire day, while my strangulated bowel died., sent me home telling me I was constipated. I came home and spent a night in agony, came back on Monday, when I knew I could get my surgeon to see the scans ( now I had two. I was rushed in for emergency surgery and spent an entire week in the hospital, as I should have been when he tossed me aside, and was handing out morphine to anyone in pain. I refused morphine, and was left to suffer without another concern by this criminal. A formal complaint WILL be made, now that I am recovering with an incision running the entire length of my belly.My suffering, pain, length of recovery and seriousness of condition could have been alleviated if this ass-hat knew how to read a scan.my condition could have very easily become life threatening if I had not come directly back to ER when he refused any treatment on me

Extremely kind Dr. His way to treat me as a patient was clear , friendly and confident. Nothing intimidating or scary after all the results he saw in my CT Scan. Please, keep seen a patient as a human and not as a business. MAY THE LORD BLESS AND KEEP YOU SAFE????
