Dr. Gregory Thomas Squires, MD

Saw him in emergency room, east cooper hospital, with severe abdominal pain. Diagnosed umbilical hernia/bowel obstruction. In surgery early afternoon. On the ward by late afternoon.He was at bed side every day checking on me. Was kind to my wife and answered every question we had. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Having surgery for anything is not what one ones for. Having my 4th surgery, I was somewhat hesitate due to my past experiences where I had to have open incisions from the top of the rib cage to below the belly button. Dr. Squires was able to remove my 100% non functional gall bladder and scar tissue from some previous surgeries. It has been 3 weeks and was released today. I could not be more please. My experience with Dr. Squires and his Assistant has been excellent. They both have excellent patient doctor relationship. The Tidewater entire staff was most helpful and professional.

I'm quite surprised with negative/poor reviews for Dr. Squires. Several months ago my daughter took me to East Cooper Hospital due to severe pain in the abdomen area. I was sedated and do not recall meeting Dr. Squires prior to surgery. Dr. Squires did an outstanding job and without any hesitation will strongly recommend him to family and friends. I want a surgeon that is confident in his skill set as well as his team. I appreciate a doctor that is to the point as opposed to one that talks around the issue at hand. My experience at his office was positive and wait time was less than 10 minutes. If you need a doctor with a high skill set and incredible talent then Dr. Squires is the doctor for you.

I highly recommend Dr Squires and his team. I am extremely satisfied with his surgical skills and follow up. In addition, he has an awesome staff at his Mount Pleasant location.

Very rude Doc and nurse!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and don't see this doc...there are many other out there that really care about patients!!!!

Dr Squires evaluated me for an abdominal problem that many surgeons would have gone in and repaired surgically. Instead, we waited a couple of days, the problem resolved, and I avoided the risk of surgery. Great job

Rude.Irrelevant questions.Truly seemed uncaring.Did not seem to want to do the surgery.Seemed as if I was bothering him.Seemed as if seeing patients was beneath him.Rude to staff, as I witnessed.

bedside manner -poor,feeling rushed,like answering questions is a bother to him..no follow up to problems, or potential for problems, long wait in office, not enough seats, so patients that are ill have to stand
