We all know that people hate to go to the dentist as a general rule but I always look forward to my visits with Dr. Strain. He is the only dentist who's ever fixed my front tooth properly. He's fast, he's friendly, and he cares. He doesn't just rush through the visit. He takes the time to talk to you and ask after your overall well-being.

Gregory Strain is great, he is my favorite dentist. I have had several dentists in my life and he is always kind and gentle and very welcoming. He is happy to answer questions and smiles and makes me feel at ease. He is relaxed and makes me feel relaxed there. He is empathetic and a good listener, he takes time to look at me when Im speaking, and steadily looks into my eyes- he is not distracted. He answers questions thoroughly and with patience and gentleness. He makes me feel like any of my questions are welcome and he will answer anything I want. He is very accepting of anything I have to say.

We've been going to Dr. Strain (Westbank office) for a few years now, and we absolutely love him, and his staff. Everyone is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you with any issues. We love his hygienist, Stephanie. She does a great job with our cleanings! Super sweet!

I had a molar and wisdom tooth extracted on the same day right behind the other. Nitrous Oxide before the local anesthetic and the procedure was done before I knew it! Dr. Strain was very cordial, friendly and he listened attentively especially at the fact that I was "terrified of dental procedures". He assured me he would take good care of me and he did just that. NO PAIN MEDICINE was needed afterwards. His new slogan should be "I cater to cowards".

I found the staff at the Independence location lacked empathy and compassion for me as a patient. I was really scared of the procedure I was having done and the assistant certainly didn't go out of her way to make me feel at ease. The doctor seemed skilled and completed the procedure quickly and without complication, but I couldn't tell you if he was Gregory Strain or not because he never introduced himself to me.
