Dentistry has given me the opportunity to improve the lives of people, both in the Schaumburg community and in other areas of the world. When patients give me the privilege of serving them, the rewards I receive in return are immeasurable. My goal as a dentist is to make the lives of my patients better by providing them with high quality dental care in an atmosphere that is caring, comfortable and professional.
Helping a patient improve the quality of their life by alleviating pain or restoring their smile is intensely rewarding. I love listening to my patients, hearing their stories, and finding a way to help them get the care they need. Building honest, trusting relationships with my patients and their families is the cornerstone of my practice.
A Foundation in Excellence
I began my dental career by receiving an education and the hands-on training needed to provide my patients with the best care possible. I attended Loyola University in Chicago for my …undergraduate education as well as my dental education, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1974. I opened my private practice, Olde Schaumburg Dental, in 1979.
Continuing Education
The needs of my patients are constantly changing, and new and exciting technology is being developed every day. For that reason, I have a commitment to both professional continuing education and personal growth, assuring my patients that they will always receive the highest quality dental care. To that end, I have accumulated more than 1,500 hours of continuing education in my career. I belong to both national and local study clubs and am a current member of six leading dental organizations, including:

A Unique Practice
My team and I strive not only to create an atmosphere where our patients can receive a health care service, but where they also feel as if they are surrounded by people who truly care. People come into our practice as patients but soon discover that they have become our friends. We want our patients to enjoy their time with us. There is a lot of positive energy, always a story to be told, and of course, a lot of laughter.
Outside the Office
I am originally from Cleveland, OH, and have enjoyed calling Schaumburg my home for more than three decades. My wife, Jackie, and I have two wonderful children, Christopher and Stephanie. When I’m not spending as much time with them as possible, I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening, cooking, and biking.
My commitment to providing people with excellent dental care is not limited to my own community, but is shared with communities throughout the world. I have done humanitarian trips to provide dental care to underprivileged people in third world countries and have been honored to help improve the dental health of those in Nepal, Uganda, Bolivia, and many Caribbean countries.
