Amazing Doctor and great staff! Highly recommend!

Dr. Surfield removed melanoma from my arm. He never spoke to me during the surgery, instead spoke only to his nurse complaining about various financial matters. Following the surgery, he said nothing, until I stopped him to ask some questions. If your looking for a kind bedside manner, he's not your guy. Worst of all, my arm looks like a child did the stiches.

Always get a second opinion before seeing this doctor. I had a supposed cyst removed from the back of my neck. During this being removed I had a reaction to the numbing medication and almost passed out. The nurse helped by holding my head up while the doctor stitched up my wound. After he was done I never saw him again. I would think he would have explained what happened. I was to be notified in 5 to 7 days the results of the specimen.14 days later I called the office and asked about it and was told the specimen mistakenly got thrown away but it was a lipoma not a cyst. I strongly believe no one would have contacted me.

I was treated poorly with no communication. He suffers bad bedside manner, with no compassion for his patient.

Great person, better doctor!
