Even though Dr. Van Den Berghe's diagnose of my shoulder and knee pain may be good and the mannerism was professional and courtesy enough, but it was the first time that my cortisone shots were not done by a doctor, rather by a nurse who is using a fancy machine in locating my pain spot. The machine (did not get the name) was used without first obtain my approval. It shocked me when I received my medical bill. I was charged $441 for them using this machine without my consent!!! This should have been done by Dr. Van Den Berghe, then I should not have been billed for this ridiculous machine!!!

Dr. VandenBerghe is an absolutely superb shoulder surgeon. In doing my rotator cuff surgery he found massive tears—more than expected—and repaired them expertly. Five months out and have full range of motion. Could not be more pleased!

I would highly recommend Dr. VanDenBerghe for rotator cuff repair. He and the staff at Apex Orthopedics are professional, courteous, efficient and very well qualified. They worked with me for scheduling both the consultation and surgery. The surgery itself was absolutely painless, and the recovery was not as bad as everyone said it would be! I had very little pain and I am currently at 4 months and doing great. I am resuming normal activities while continuing with PT. I will always recommend Dr. VanDen Berghe to anyone looking for shoulder surgery. He is an amazing surgeon.

Dr Van Den Berghe is a truly excellent doctor. He has very polite and caring while looking into my shoulder problem, which was a calcified stone. After the surgery, my shoulder is healing nicely. I would recommend him to anyone.

I separated my shoulder and had to have surgery to repair it. Everyone at this office has been very helpful and great to work with. Dr Van Den Berghe has been great he answers my questions and gives great detail. Bedside manner is just as important as skill I'm very please with both from him.

Dr. Gregory Van Den Berghe did a great job, amazing work on my shoulder. My shoulder was in full range of motion before the expected time. Although i waited the proper 6 months until i could resume physical activity, the surgery was great and a speedy recovery is ensured

After initially seeing me he ordered an X-Ray. My scapula was broken so slightly but I had much pain. He ordered a CT scan (I think) and it showed a fracture. He recommended not using it much and the weight load until it healed. He is an expert diagnostician and physician in orthopedic surgery. Thank you very much Dr! 6 star rating!

Dr. Van den Berghe is both me and my father's shoulder surgeon. He listens, takes his time with questions, and only recommends surgery when it's needed. My dad is back to racquetball, playing with grandkids, and yes even Zumba. Highly recommend Dr. Van den Berghe.

Office staff is great and he told me exactly what was going to happen. Extremely thorough. I had rotator cuff surgery which was torn in several places. Great result!! And my range of motion is normal and I'm virtually pain free!
