Have called the office to get an appt. for my mother. They say they are open, they do not answer phone or call you back. So my mother does not have an appt. Not happy!

excellent Dr. with a sense of humor

Great Doctor with lots of personality. Be prepared to work with Student and Intern doctors. However, the ones I have seen have been very pleasant and thorough.

Office staff will schedule out a week for an urgent appointment. Visiting a referral doctor another patient's file was sent. I am beyond not happy with office. He seems like a competent doctor but his office has tremendous issues. Do not choose him if you have multiple medical issues going on, hIs office will not be able to handle it.

My experience with Dr Walker was great. He got right down to brass tacks and performed a thorough work over. He immediately made me feel relaxed with no doubt that I was in very capable hands. Afterwards very personable . Looking forward to future encounters.

I have been treated by Dr. Walker for years. He has a great bedside manner, and is able to relax patients with his excellent sense of humour. I have called to speak with him via phone, and have done so many times, unless he is with a patient; then one of the staff will relay his message to me. The staff handle phone calls well, and only do not answer if they are at lunch, or are swamped. The office has never lost any of my blood work, and are faithful about prescription refills. Dr. Walker is indeed a credit to Union Memorial Hospital.

I recently visited Dr. Walker's office for the first time. Everything went great. Dr. Walker is very professional, and very funny.

He allows 15 minutes for appointments no matter what the reason for the appointmentment. He makes constant mistakes about prescriptions and dosages because his computers aren't linked together. His office does not answer the phone half the time and for the most part does not return calls. Dr. Walker will never take a phone call, so if you are having a problem with what he has prescribed for you, you have to wait days for an appointment to straighten it out and go without any medication.
