Dr. Gregory John Wastek, MD

Prior to seeing Dr. Wastek, I had read several negative reviews and was quite nervous for my appointment. I've never written a review on a doctor before, but felt that I needed to because my experience was completely opposite of what I've read. His office staff was kind and helpful, not overly friendly, but very cordial. I spent about 30-35 minutes waiting for my appointment, however, I had gotten there early, so was taken back about 5-10 minutes past my scheduled time. The two different medical assistants were both very nice and the one who assists the doctor was exceptionally kind and helpful. The doctor himself wasn't super chatty, but was very nice and seemed to be very thorough. He gave me plenty of opportunity to ask any questions I might have. Overall, I left this appointment very satisfied and wondering why the bad reviews. He was perfectly nice, in my experience.

I felt that he did not want to take the time to explain what it was I had. He was there a maximum of one minute. Prescribed an ointment. The nurse was a little more helpful. Total visit time that I felt was determined by what my insurance could pay; was 3 minutes-answering questions took more than half of it. Wait time is from the time I filled out the paperwork to the time I left after his diagnosis.

He was the rudest doctor I have ever been to. I would not recommend going to him. His office had to dig for my paperwork and didn't find it until I had gone to my car to get a copy of what was faxed over a week before. Then I see him for no more than 1 minute and he was not caring or understanding or anything. Cold hearted is what he seemed to me. I paid $50 for the visit and saw him for less than a minute. Unbelievable. Do not go to this doctor.
