After graduating with honors from the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry in 1988, Dr. Wright was awarded a position in the prestigious VA Hospital General Practice Residency Program. At the completion of his residency, Dr. Wright, a native Texan, was proud to begin his private practice career as an associate in a Grapevine dental
practice in 1989. In 1992, he, along with his wife, Cindy, opened their private practice in Southlake. Dr. Wright's dedication to personal and professional excellence fuels his desire for continuing education.
Dr. Wright is an accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. An international organization of more than 7500 members, the AACD has approximately 270 members who have achieved, by rigorous examination and case presentation, accredited member status. By successfully presenting another 50 cosmetic cases Fellowship status is earned. Dr. Wright is the only accredited Fellow in Tarrant County, one of only …7 in Texas. Dr. Wright earned his accredited status in 2000, and his Fellowship status in 2008. Because of the excellence he has demonstrated in the AACD, Dr. Wright was chosen in 2001 to serve the Academy as one of the 40 active examiners for the accreditation process. He has also served as chairperson for the written examination committee. Dr. Wright takes at least one-hundred hours of continuing education each year to stay informed and to maintain his skills in the latest cosmetic procedures. Photographs of his work are used internationally by his ceramist as examples of beautiful dentistry.
Away from the office, Dr. Wright enjoys time with his wife and daughter. To relax, he likes to play golf and practice photography.
