Dr. Greta Charisse Manning, MD

Dr. Manning is a true professional that genuinely cares about her patients. She is very knowledgeable in her field of study, as well as a person who shows both concern and kindness when it come to her patients needs. She also gives very thorough examinations. I give her five stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Manning for over a year. At first she was highly satisfactory for me, good bed side manner. After a recent accident I had in which I was in a coma for two weeks, and hospitalized for a month, my post hospital visit left a LOT to be desired. She barely spent ten minutes, if that, with me. She didn't refill my blood pressure meds or cholesterol med, so I am without them. I would have thought she was looking out for my overall health, but she should have been questioning the high doses of VERY strong Bi-Polar meds I was prescribed, willy-nilly, by the PA's at Centerston. These drugs were responsible for my accident, and I almost died. I was given a 5% chance of waking up out of the coma, but would most likely be in a vegetative state.Lucky for me I beat them all. Today, when my health nurse came to my home she informed me that Dr. Manning will be gone at the end of the month and I need to find a new PCP! My father saw her this morning and was never informed she was… no longer going to be treating him either! To be fair, I will give her the benefit of the dought and assume she is going through some horrible upset in her life, but it's terrible when it means my health is in jeaopardy because of it.

Makes you wait for hours and will prescribe you meds for anything you want.

After 3 hours from our appointment, Had us thrown out because we were upset about the 3 hours behind appointment wait time. Appointment was originally cancelled and rescheduled by them and then not kept again.

Dr. Manning is a fantastic Dr. I have had a lot of issues that other Drs. could not resolve. After seeing Dr. Manning she not only got the problem under control, I feel good! She's an amazing Dr. who takes her time to get to the root of the problem.

Absolutely wonderful doctor. Very thorough. Answers all your questions and takes her time making sure that she addresses all you concerns.

Will not go back. She's rude. Gave me Rx for things I didn't have. To quick to prescribe. Forces Rx.

Always on top of the problem, looks at you an not through you takes her time to get to the source of your medical needs. Always has a smile for you, as the Dr for all of my family remembers that an ask to make sure that they are doing fine. Make's you feel like family, has the best bedside manner that you could wish for not sharp or abrupt when you have question listen when you talk to her..... A GREAT DR, glad she's their for my family

My doctor was booked; quickly got a same-day with Dr Manning. BUT, waited 1 hr 40 min PAST appt time to be seen! Complaint was classic sinusitis, but she diagnosed as bronchitis, even w/out having the supporting symptoms! After stating preference to avoid medicating when possible, was given FIVE different meds. Didn't listen, just diagnosed and wrote Rx's. She may be pleasant enough, but I won't make another appointment with her. Will likely just find another office all together.

I was referred to Dr. Manning by my insurance provider because she took patients with my insurance. Now I understand that a Dr is supposed to care about your total well being and offer their insight as to changes that need to be made in your day to day routines. What I dont appreciate is going to Dr Manning about a particular sickness that I was dealing with and being told everything else about how i wasnt living right! Yes I am a smoker and I know I should quit! Yes i am slightly overweight and i need to lose some weight! Yes I drink too much sweet tea! I get that! Already knew that! What I dont get is how she feels it is ok to tell me that I am going to die if I dont quit smoking!! Seriously??? I know this already! Yes I am overweight! Dont need to pay a Dr to tell me that (Quite rudely I might add) Nor do I need a Dr to tell me that "Your kidneys are going to fail you before you are 50 and there isnt a thing we can do to help you, you will be done" Keeping in mind these… issues had nothing to do with the current problem that I was having!! Prescribed me medication 3 times of which none of them helped me! Will not ever return to Dr Manning. She needs a class on bedside manner and a refresher course on how to correctly diagnose an illness and the correct medication to prescribe to cure said illness.
