Seeking help for your mental health can be intimidating, which is why it is essential for you and I to find common ground and discover your strengths to create a sense of security. Therapy will be a collaborative process between you and I, where you are the expert of yourself and your relationship. I encourage vulnerability, but only when it feels safe to do so. Together we will bring awareness to how the problem is affecting you so that we can identify creative solutions and take steps toward your goals.

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2019 with a Master's of Social Work. Now as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S), I have been working with youth and families in community mental health for almost 5 years. I primarily work with at-risk youth experiencing family conflict, PTSD, and depression. I lead treatment teams for each of my clients to promote collaboration between the systems that are involved in youths’ lives. Prior to community mental health, I worked as …a case manager to assist adults suffering from severe mental illness in accessing their basic needs.

Through my work with youth and families, I teach skills to a variety of caregivers, including parents/partners. I am passionate about working with couples in particular, because this relationship is key to the entire structure of a family unit. I use a family systems approach to help couples identify patterns of communication that lead to conflict and increase awareness about how they influence one another’s behaviors. With an understanding of how you interact with your partner, we will work toward improving the quality of your relationship.
