Griffin Gibson II, MD

Dr. Griffin F. Gibson, II, a psychiatrist, earned his medical degree and completed his General Surgery internship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his Psychiatry residency at the University of South Alabama, and completed his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Gibson is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the Alabama Psychiatric Physicians Association (APPA) and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP). He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (APBN) in General Psychiatry, and pending board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Gibson is the recipient of the 2018 Psychiatry Resident-In-Training Examination (PRITE) award and was the 2019 – 2020 Chief Fellow of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of South Alabama. His clinical interests include child and adolescent psychiatry along with adult …psychiatry.
The proud parents of three daughters and a golden retriever, Dr. Gibson and his wife enjoy spending time at the beach and being together as a family.
