I wish I could give negative stars!!!! He did not listen to what my symptoms were, I can hear myself wheezing and he didn't even listen when he told me to breath deep! He left to room and said he would be back, however that was the last I saw of him other than in the hallway as I was paying at check out! The nurse came and gave me 2 shots which I didn't have a clue what they were for and she said she didn't know what he was treating me for. The lady at checkout is who told me I was being treated for a sinus infection and yet Tamiflu is on the list of 4 medicines that were being called in for me! Total waste of time and a co-pay as I now have to go see a real doctor for a real diagnosis!

Went to see the doctor for serious chest discomfort. My blood pressure was 194/135. As soon as the doctor read my symptoms and saw my blood pressure reading on the chart, he fussed at me and told me that he did not have a "magic pill" to give me to make my symptoms go away. Anyway, I was telling him how I had discomfort in the upper part of my abdomen with an annoying feeling of fullness. In a condescending tone he said, "I'll get you something for your tummy". Doc, my tummy wasnt hurting. It was my heart that was bothering me. So he diagnosed me as having some sort of acid reflux disease and gave pills that I will not take because I've never had acid reflux disease now or then. Then I told him that my back was hurting between my shoulder blades. He said he would give me muscle relaxers. I said "no, the pain is between my shoulder blades and I believe its my heart" . He ignored me and kept writing out whatever he was writing. I also told him that my legs were hurting… and the arteries in my legs were swollen and tender. He just said something like "oh, oh, yeah yeah yeah." Never once even looked at my legs. Just in case I was right about it being my heart, he had me take an EKG. The EKG tech was just as nutty as the doctor. So I'm on the table and as the tech is placing the electrodes on my body, he notices how swollen my ankles were and starts telling me this story of when he (supposedly) had excessive fluid, chest pain, etc. and had to make an emergency stop at the hospital. He told me that they found a 90% blockage in his heart and that he told himself "I cannot die today..." Excuse me, but that is not the kind of story you tell someone who is having serious heart pain and fatally high blood pressure. It was probably a fake story just to see my reaction. The lady who took my blood pressure was a little stuck up and rude. She acted like her face would crack if she smiled. It was like an episode of Twilight Zone or Night Gallery.

Only because I cannot leave stars rating blank-gave him i star. I came to Urgent Care because i suspected (eventually confirmed that I had pneumonia). Mr regular Dr only in the office Mon and Fri. After x-ray and sat in exam room, he opens door (all the time staying at room entrance, but never coming in room, and says, "think might be pneumonia, so getting an antibiotic for you," turns and quickly shuts door back. Acted like I came in with Ebola or something-afraid to get near me. Antibiotic did nothing, so I returned week, maybe two weeks, to Urgent Care when I knew my regular Dr would be working it. My Dr. took proper time, had me do a pulmonary test, another xray and told me I had some nasty looking pnuemonia, gave me a shot; told me the antibiotic Dr Walters prescribed was not a very powerful one at all; prescribed a different rx-which worked! When I told my neighbor who the original visit at Urgent Care was with, they said they thought Dr Walters would do better working at… Walmart-stocking shelves! I agree, though I personally shop at Publix only.

Without a doubt the worst Dr. I have ever been to. Total waste of time and money. He was very abrupt and inconsiderate. To put it mildly this man is a blithering idiot!!!

Dr. Walters is a nice doctor but seems to be a bit unexperienced. I was upset that he continued to diagnose me with pnuemonia when it was actually a blood clot in my lungs. The final straw was when he took me in the hallway to finish my visit.....that was business that should have been conducted behind closed doors. Its called Patient Privacy Rights!

Incompetent staff and money hungry doctor.
